Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Saw a pair of sun dogs during my house hunting today. Cool.

I saw that too - nearly would have been a full rainbow around the sun if the clouds had been there.

(cue DOUBLE RAINBOW!!!)

Evening, Lodge. It's been a long couple of weeks, complete with my gf's suicidal roommate, a flat tire on the way to the airport, drama with a bunch of former Michigan Tech students that I'm busy resolving, a meeting with a whole bunch of students in Washington, DC, and severe sleep deprivation throughout. Wouldn't have traded that time for the world. :o

Good morning Ralph, MEUSA, Les and the rest of tLodge.

It's, um, snowing here right now. On the shoreline, snow, in November. It's even sticking. I'm really happy I don't have to drive anywhere to get to work.

Yikes!!! Hell, at least tell me it was the best built from the time period it was orginally built. They're suppost to have codes to be on the level at least now.
Yeah, I wish I could tell you that. But, no.

Many of these inspectors are morons... "door, check!". "oh, I did notice a furnace, so you have heating..". -does it work? "that's for a heating inspector to come andsee, if you need a reference let me know".
How could I forget the furnace, well actually it's a heat pump. But basically he couldn't test the heating side of it because it was too warm outside.

Just saw the radar looks like western MAss is getting some snow also:). Maine is getting rain and high wind(50 mph gusts), apparently tapping some moisture from some storm out in the Atlantic. Had leaves on the trees yesterday, not anymore:)

 I would skip the suicidal roommate part.

Les - I was up with the baby, so rather than go back to bed for all of 30 minutes, I decided to start working early. I've actually been up since about 4:15.

Morning. Just a couple snowflakes in the air mixed with some sleet in NYC. Love it.

Short week, then headed back home to try and find Bambi's Father, it's rut season!

Ugh. Don't miss that part. Now we just have to dump Lil out of bed because he doesn't want to wake up.

Staying home with junior today. He was complaining of bellyache off and on yesterday. Still bothering him today so we told him to go back to bed.

Supposed to be 60, sunny and calm here, 65 tomorrow. I'll do some yard clean-up and some work I brought home.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

Morning Lodge.

I went shopping yesterday. Went to Fleet Farm, bought clothes, groceries, and a deer license. I could spend thousands upon thousands of dollars at that place.

I got a bunch of small stuff done at the house over the weekend, more stuff from the garage put away, re-arranged the living room so it works better with where the TV has to be, started my next batch of wine fermenting, cleaned up the yard, cleaned a bunch and bought a coffee table on craigslist. Now, when my mom is done with work today, at about 1, she's coming up with my cousin who is a general contractor and out of work, to check out the house. He is going to help with some of the bigger projects, like taping sheetrock, replacing the stairs and finishing the bathroom. We should get a start on that tonight. So far everything with the house is going well!

I just renewed my car insurance. I had only given them my parents address before, but now that I bought a house I gave them my new address. My insurance went up $10/month because of the address change, apparently I didn't get far enough from the **** city.

Better to be in your front yard than bouncing off of the hood of my truck.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 124: End of season: Which hockey table will you be at?

I am 100 percent sold on the Jeep Wrangler. BEST. SNOW. CAR. EVER. Climbed up a 20 degree incline on glare ice without even thinking twice about it.

As long as they end up in a tree, and subsequently inside of a natural sausage casing, I don't care how they get there. ;)
