Good morning everyone! I am worn out today. :(

I think I need a day off, as in a day where I do not log into my work email/servers at all. I wonder if I can arrange that for this weekend.

Why is UAH apparel so difficult to find? They are ruining my Halloween costume idea. I don't think they sell jerseys and the only t-shirt I could find was only available in small.

Thanks les. Got a "Bon Anniversaire!" wish from France this morning too via facebook.

Best part is, today is my Friday! Thursday and Friday are called MEA weekend here in MN (teachers' union has annual convention/fall vacation days) so kid is off and we had planned to go up to the North Shore of Superior for the weekend. Decided to stay home and get some things done instead, but I'm still taking the days off. :)

BTW, the problem seems to be fixed although :( I made about a dozen posts that aren't be counted. :(

Interestingly, on threads where posts were made while the database was having problems and no posts have been made yet since it has been fixed, the first posts have negative numbers. (Sorry for the math.)

Now it doesn't take you to the last post you read aaaaand it is telling me there are new posts that aren't new. I also posted something awhile ago that just disappeared. Board needs an excorcism!!

Since WTW seems to really want to know:

I plan to dress as a 'college hockey gypsy' for the hockey game on the 30th. My thought was I'd dress like a gypsy and wear a UAH jersey (or hat, or something). As of right now it looks I may end up making my own t-shirt that I'll trace a UAH logo on to.

While I know most people at the hockey game won't get it, I'll find it hilarious.

So, PB and I will be adding an addition to the family.

No worries, this is another dog. Went to the shelter to find a dog for a friend, and fell in love with a 1.5 year old lab/hound mix. Really, really well behaved. Knows how to heel, etc. Basically looks just like a lab, unlike our retarded lab/hound puppy. Our hopes are that getting another one while Bauer is still young will help teach him.

Pretty sure her name is going to be Cabela, but still slightly up in the air.

Last week's mail brought with it my ballot for next month's election. I've taken time over the past few days to consider the many referenda on the ballot, some of the proposed amendments to the state constitution, et cetera. I've held my nose and cast a vote regarding some of the more malodorous and viciously contested races for office and have finalized my ballot. Later today I'll drop my ballot in the mail. I'll be glad once Election Day has come and gone, TV ads resume a less contemptible demeanor and the phone stops ringing with this or that moron wanting to tell me why I should or shouldn't vote for a particular slimeball who found his or her way on to the ballot. On the good side of things it's an absolutely gorgeous fall day in Denver with temps headed to seventy-five degrees.
