Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 120: How do you want to die?

I accidentally wandered into a free Boyz II Men concert tonight.
As far as those sorts of bands go, I remember them as not being the worst.

It's kind of funny to think of them touring with groups like Ratt or Great White, you know, the bands that haven't released anything in how many decades yet still don't know when to quit.

I remember when Winger was at a bar called the Iron Horse in Crystal (off of Hwy 81 and Bass Lake Road, for the locals) many many years ago. It wasn't even a good bar. At best, it MIGHT be classified as a dive. It's really sad.

And BIIM wasn't bad at all; they could actually sing and harmonize.

our group ended the night at that concert.

ALso, I would rather go out in my sleep.

Not kicking and screaming like the passengers in your grandpa's car? :D

Heh. Not really. Peaceful i think would be better. I don't want to see it coming.

I don't want to take anyone else with me either.

I once saw 2LiveCrew at Sensations in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Sensations was only open when there was a live band.

That was a pure novelty act. ;)

Thought their music was funny, and sometimes entertaining (own the "Nasty" cd, and bought the "Banned In The USA" cassette under the counter), but they weren't a real music act. Let's face it. Little talent, just thrived on controversy.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 120: How do you want to die?

So apparently there's a guy on the H channel with a stomach strong enough to let a truck drive over him.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 120: How do you want to die?

I'm watching it too. I've seen this guy numerous times. It's pretty incredible.

The climber guy is insane. I've seen the previews for this episode and I'm completely in awe.
