Good Morning, Lodge!

I am on-call today, which pretty much means that I get to sit at home all day. Even better is that being at home means that I am guaranteed air conditioning because it is hot and humid here in 262 land.

Yes. 5 $. I could even give change for the 10$ bill. We were discussing this with lil the other night- how the simple things like making change get left behind.

Nothing to report today save that Kitler has annexed the area under my bed like it was Czechoslovakia and he left quite the scratch on Friday night.

Woo! I get a free (used) laptop from work. They're throwing out some of the "junked" machines, so once I wiped it (using Darik's Boot and Nuke, Department of Defense option), I was free to take it. :)

It'll get Kat and I by since both my NMU laptop and her HP laptop died in the last two years.


Now to just dig up my NMU restore CD so I can re-image this work computer...

I've got a week left in Houghton/the UP/Michigan, and 1/3 of my belongings are already in WI. This just feels weird.

They didn't taste tasty, and they were very chewy, you can tell that you are chewing through cartilage.

My dad just called, he just sold 3 of my steers. That should help with buying appliances and furniture for the new house. :)

Also, I just back from Chipotle. When I was in line I read the little descriptions they have for their meats. Why on earth would anyone want to eat beef that is antibiotic free? We use antibiotics to kill infections and keep the livestock healthy. I sure as hell don't want to eat meat from an unhealthy steer that had an infection of some kind. I just don't understand people.
