I can't believe he's still in business, or hasn't retired, or gone off and done something else.

He's got another guy there thats his junior partner, think he does most of the bigger clients for him.

I'm amazed that he didn't just sell outright. At one point it was rumored that he was pulling $1 mil a year out of that place, and that was at least 20 years ago. He's been there at least 30. He's had some business failures (like the high-end restaurant in Adrian that immediately went tits up), but he's got to be close to retirement age by now.

There was nothing to do a work today so I was sent home 2 hours early.

True, but eh, some people just love to stay busy as well. He's active, and heck, if he really wanted to, he could probably hire another guy in, cut his hours back a little, and still continue to work for a while, as long his body holds out. Chiropractors have terrible body postures from bending over people all day. There's also another occupational hazard that Chiropractors are known to suffer as well, but I don't think everybody wants to know that...

Reminds me of a story though. When my grandmother was alive she really enjoyed going to BSU football games (imagine Betty White). One game BSU was playing the Morrhead Dragons. The play was whistled dead and there was a huge pile of players all tangled up. One of the BSU players was a very large guy. My grandmother stood up and pointed and proceeded to yell "look at the size of the Beaver on that Dragon!" There was a moment of silence then everyone within ear shot busted out in laughter. She had no clue what was going on.

Not exactly. That would be next weekend, open class weekend. When the ladies are OLDER THAN 4-H AGE! :p
