Why would eye dialation make you want to puke?

Or are these seperate statements run into a single stream of thoughts?

Nope, they're related. I guess it does the same thing to my mom. Maybe it's just my inability to focus at the moment? Not really sure why.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 117: It's The Dog Days of Summer

I can barely see right now, sorta feel like I'm going to puke. Never again am I allowing my pupils to be dilated. Almost two hours later, I still look like I have no soul, and you can't see the blue of my eyes at all. Not to mention I'm wearing my sunglasses in my relatively dark room.

Just close the curtains for awhile and keep the sun out. If you don't have anywhere to be or work to do, lay down and put a cloth over your eyes. It takes 6-8 hours for that stuff to wear off.

I used to think it was funny to look in the mirror after a trip to the eye doctor.

Did they check your ocular pressure too? That's even odder.

Last time I had that done, I drove myself down to the ballpark for an afternoon game. Had both the glaucoma check and the dilation. Try putting contacts back in when you can't see and you have numb eyes. :)

My eyes are definitely freaky at this point. I look like a soulless ginger. I've already creeped a couple of people in my house out.
I don't think they checked the ocular pressure... They did check for glaucoma though and I felt like I had syrup in my eye. And I found out that my left eye is 4 steps worse than last year (-1.5 to -2.5) which sort of sucks.
And last but not least, I found out that my eyes are really strange in the sense that I don't have typical lazy eyes which move side to side or up and down, apparently they turn like a wheel.

Yeah, slightly retarded seeing as how they gave me the new prescription contacts, and obviously I couldn't see, so I still have no idea if they work.

Finished a huge project today about half a day early. You know that feeling after you take a huge dump? Awesome.

Take a picture of your freaky eyes, and then go put on some relaxing tunes, and just veg out for a while, take a nap. Nothing much else for you to do until the stuff wears off on ya.

Study, study, veet, shower, study, study, veet, study study, Group Study pretty much discribes yesterday and today here.

I did this about 5 years ago (or was it 6?) and I am so happy with the results.

The last time I got checked for it my prescription had changed again. :( They won't do it until my eyes stop changing.

I've been thinking about it also. Last time I had my eyes checked, she talked about some corrective contacts that you wear at night that reshapes your eyes? You have to wear them every night or your eyes go back but I guess its a common product in Europe

Yeah, I remember that they had to be sure my script had stabilized before they would do it.

I did, haha. The red eye was insane. Then, I went and got my hair cut, and it's now above my chin (was below my shoulders). Quite the change from blonde and past the shoulders, to quite short and brunette. :p

I've considered it, but I'm somewhat afraid to because of the fact that glasses/lenses of some sort correct my lazy eye really well.

Well, as Goldy noted your prescription has to stabilize before they can do the surgery and that usually doesn't happen until your mid-20's. So maybe by then they'll have figure out a solution to both of your eye problems. :)

True story! :) I've had a couple of surgeries for the lazy eye, and honestly, nobody really notices it other than me, and that's only when I'm really tired. For now, I'll have to stick to cute glasses. :p Hopefully the pair I picked out when half blind today fits that category! haha
