Weighing in a little bit on the nurses in the TC - my oldest son lives with a woman who is a cardio intensive care nurse at Abbot NW - her personal gripe about the hospitals offer doesn't even affect her, yet. She insists that the proposed changes to the pension plans of nurses is quite unfair and will be especially hard on those who are currently close to retirement.

I'm back. My modem & router died within a couple days of each other. Grrrr......but my network connections are now new and improved. :)

I could not have picked a better week for a vacation. :) :)

No, that's JF if it's anyone.

Anyhoo, now that my Jeep is all registered I'm going to be a ****** and get custom plates (they're only $30 in Alaska so everyone has them.)

What should I get? Alaska lets you have six letters/numbers.

I want to get YOOPER, but I can't really claim that because I'm not a natural born Yooper. SIEVE would be cute. So would TWITCH.

This guy has some low standards.

13 inch TV and Starbucks coffee. Neither of those are acceptable to me.

Now if he had hooked his HDMI cable into a flatscreen that was already there, that would be awesome! :D (except for it still being Starbucks)

That would work...... Does Alaska have a website where you can check the availabilty of the plate??

I know thats what I used when I was trying to figure out a possiable combination for Monster, before setting on getting at GVSU plate with FRNST on it. Everything was taken, even if I had gotten a U of M plate to get an added letter....
