Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

My Memorial Day festivities were yesterday, in a combination Memorial Day celebration/surprise 50th birthday party for my uncle. Was hoping to grill some BBQ chicken today (I even threw together homemade BBQ sauce), but due to thunderstorms it looks like it may go in the oven now.

Drove to Wasilla to break in the new toy yesterday. More highway than I would have liked, but apparently you're supposed to vary your speed as much as you can and I did that pretty well.

And yes, the Wrangler is godawful on the highway. Especially on an incline. There were sections I was doing 45.

You know it's the off-season when...

You engage Hokydad in the Harvard thread.

Back from bike riding. It is hot, but I seem to have chased all of the motorcycles out of town. :D

and it was super easy when I was able to rope Bakunin into passing out most of the programs. :D
You didn't rope me into it. I had nothing better to do, and the other usher was bricking beyond belief. I basically took over and became the other usher.

Just how the hell do you brick as an usher?

Half the time he didn't have programs. The other half of the time, he'd wander off and be nowhere to be found as people came into the church. Sloe vag would usually be seating other people at this point, which meant I had to hand programs to the incoming people and tell them where to go.

It's a minor miracle I didn't pass out yesterday - I got hit with food poisoning saturday, so I had no food at all really this weekend (yesterday featured a couple pieces of toast, lots of water, and some gatorade).

Oh, and I basically got c-blocked at the reception last night - not that it really mattered; the chick(while hot) was a smoker, and due to the aforementioned food poisoning, I didn't have the energy to dance with her in any case.

Were you c-blocked by the other usher?

He called me a pig in the BU recruiting thread. It was a joke, but still out of line. Mostly because it's him. I told him I didn't care if it was a joke, it was uncalled for. He said he didn't give a ****. Nice.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I dont know what is wrong with my lately. But I get to the weekend and I am not motivated to do a single thing, until mid afternoon on sunday where I try to power thru my to do list and will ultimately fail.

I think I am in a funk.

Booo

Do what I do: use Sat to do your list, and Pile Sunday (where you don't do a dang thing) is your "reward." It works out nicely.

Yeah that is usually how I roll.

I am in a bit of a funk lately.

I will say now that I started crossfit I am starting to get back into more health behaviors, so I am hoping once my stamina picks up that I can take that energy and use it to bust thru my saturday list.

But you are right, I probably wouldnt feel as bad about it if I had one productive day and one where I wore no pants and slept on the couch.

You don't feel bad about it at all. Why? Because you earned it. That's why. Hell, even God rested on Sunday. ;)

Meningitis + PMS.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

You might not be that far off. The headache, stiff neck, and dizziness certainly point to it.
PMS points to the other symptoms too.

Could also be a severe respiratory infection.

Whatever it is, urgent care is in her immediate future.
