They opened one 10 mins from here a few months ago. Giant guitar-shaped bar, live entertainment, $1 PBR happy hours, attractive waitresses, etc. Menu looked a tad pricey, but I'm sure I'll eat there eventually.
They have a menu? When I was in Vegas, I must have never gone in at the right time to be offered a menu. All I was asked was what I wanted to drink. :D

Nearly set for kickball on sundays and I'm all but a check from being set for the improv comedy lessons on saturday... the 2nd half of my summer is going to be busy... but it should be good :)

Good morning Lodge and greetings from Chicago. Sitting here at our breakfast event. I've been here since 7am. I head to the airport right after this. I hope I can fly stand by on an earlier flight.

Lots of Blackhawks fever here. Buildings have banners hanging, signs in the windows, etc. Nice to see!

Good Morning Lodge

I think I figured out the problem I was having with the transducer, which has been going on for a week now. Luckily, since the engine is supposed to be up and running on the pad by the end of the week. :p
Is that the actual name of the place?

I hate working with mutual fund companies. They have too many arcane rules that change from company to company. I want this crap to end so I can get back to with the depositories because the two of them only have two sets of rules. Simple easy, the way I like 'em.

And bbdl, the word is "frustrated." See how the "t" and "r" are right next to each other? Yeah, it's supposed to be like that. I know it can be frustrating to write the word "frustrated," but try not to let that frustrate you. Maybe it's some sort of hick/farm thing to add that extra vowel. I usually associated that with the in-breeders in SW WI, but maybe it's moved west of there. Or just get Firefox. That'll fix ya' good.

:p
Yes, that is the actual name of the place. It sounds like they'll be having some pretty big name country singers play there. Last night they had Lee Brice at the one here.

I can't download firefox at work and I don't care too much that I didn't spell a word correctly.
Because they're incredibly comfortable. They're made of incredibly light and thin fabric (almost see through if you wear the whites). Perfect for a hot day.
Like a Nike Golf Dry-Fit shirt or an Adidas Clima-Cool shirt or Under Armor Golf shirt? I have plenty of those to get me by. :p
* morning. * long days. * sunrises. Someone better *ing give me some goddam mother*ing caffeine and soon, or I'm gonna cut someone pretty *ing quick.
Oh, its not that bad. I seem to be waking up an hour before my alarm now, at about 5.

I feel the same about InDesign. Coffee hasn't helped yet. I'm thinking of moving on to threats. Maybe I can make it FEAR me...

photobucket.com?

Accounts at places like flickr or webshots don't cost all that much; I think webshots was something like $30/year. I can't imagine flickr being any more expensive than that (and it's a pretty good hosting site).
I screwed up and forgot to look back on here. Ended up doing what one of the parents suggested and using snap fish. I am going to have folks email me if they want the pics and I can just send them the pics or put it on a disc.

I have a ton of hockey ones- maybe I will put those on photobucket. Later.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

Yeah, I was too busy thinking about ewe in a white, nearly see through, soccer jersey to worry about bbdl in one. :p

It even says Beckham on the back. :p (bought it in England in 2006 for the World Cup)

Did I miss a memo? Is there no such thing as stand by? My flight is at 1:20. There's an earlier flight at 12:05 and the woman at the gate told me if I wasn't gold or platinum level it would cost me $50. I thought if you rebook and that flight was more ther was a rebooking fee plus the cost difference in the ticket. I've flown standby before and didn't have to pay.

Welcome to Chicago. :D

Yes, including such delicacies as fried baloney sandwiches and a few other stereotypically "redneck" food items (plus the usual burgers, sandwiches, calorie-laden "salads", country-ish dinner entrees, etc.) ;)

Afternoon, Lodge. Surgery went well; I was impressed with how quickly I was in and out. Now I'm not supposed to use the arm again for 12-14 days... this is going to be fun.

Congratulations on the successful surgery!

How's this for an odd one: the guy in the office across from mine just brought his wife and fourth child home from the hospital (a baby boy), and instead of a box of cigars he drops a box of Hostess Twinkies on the break room table!

Now, I love Twinkies, but cigars are much better.

Maybe by the 4th kid the cigars are getting a bit expensive. Or maybe the excitement level has waned down to Twinkies. Or maybe he realizes this may be the last time before the Zombie Apocalypse that he will have the chance to buy them.

Maybe you could get a gig on The Fugitive playing part of the one-armed man. Ya know, just for a cuppla weeks. ;)

Good point. I can't believe I didn't think of this.

But I still want my cigar, so I can fight zombies in style. Perhaps a pipe, instead? Which goes better with a shotgun?
