Already had about a dozen e-mails and one phone call from work.:( Plan to go in on Friday.

Its nice to be wanted but don't screw that operation up. I've heard of folks doing too much and ripping out stitches. Be careful what you do and pay attention to the pain.

Your work has air conditioning? Jealous.

They turn it on whenever they feel like it. In the area where I work in, the air does not circulate very well so we have fans going constantly. They ended up turning the air on about an hour later this afternoon.

What happens when a train and a tornado come together, takes awhile to see whats going on but its pretty cool when it happens:D
 That was neat to watch but I'm sure the crew of that train was looking for the nearest K-Mart to buy new underwear!

(Also - Abby is way hotter than Ziva. :p
Respectfully disagree.
Yes. Oh my goodness, yes. Can't decide whether I like her or Gabrielle Anwar from Burn Notice better...
Fi.

But, give me Ziva over both of them. :)
That dog looks ridiculous, especially next to our 100lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever. And apparently, the thing is psychotic.
That's because (as has already been alluded to) it's not a dog, it's a football...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

Ziva, please. Abby is too much of a circus freak for my tastes.

Morning Lodge. Hard to type in a sling unless I hunt and peck lefty. Surgery went fine, aftermath not so good. Couldn't keep food down until about 11 last night due to anesthesia reaction. :( Made for about a 24 hour fast. Mrs and Jr went to the kids soccer game last night and asked the neighbor to check in on me. Heard the knock on the door at 6:30, yelled "come in it's open" and went into the bathroom to puke. The neighbor is a MD so she's used to hearing folks puking.:)

I have a pain pump to shoot local into a catheter in my shoulder, ice packs in the sling and Vicodin. Shouldn't hurt too much.;)

Get well soon.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 113: Whutchu talkin' about, Meyer?

ANOTHER very good friend of mine has been fighting cancer since December. The cancer was in his left hip and things were looking OK. He was rushed to Mayo last week and the cancer has spread to the lining of the brain and it is in his spinal fluid. IF you feel so inclined please say a prayer for him and his loved ones. :(

ugh... i'm not trying to be too much of a downer but it always seem like certain people are cursed like this (having to see others go through these things)... granted the person with illness has it worse... but still.

:)

I had one tonight. Yes, I know it's not Thursday. My friend is back from her vacation and we were supposed to go tomorrow night for her birthday (which was the 24th) but she has a medical situation and won't be in the office tomorrow. Hottie bartender was there and says to me "Does this mean you won't be in tomorrow???" Hee. I think he secretly luuuuurves me. :)

Howdy Folks
Off to the Dentist

I have a dentist appointment on Friday morning to replace a filling. I was supposed to have it done in January but was in the throes of my allergic reaction to the amoxicillin. Not looking forward to that.

Have you seen "Major League"? I'm pretty sure the song during the opening credits is all about the river burning.

I've seen that movie many many times and not once have I noticed the opening credit music.

Holy cow!!! Hope you heal fast!!!

There is nothing on TV tonight. Maybe I should go to bed early.

I am not sure what the deal is but this is the fourth friend in the past few years. It sucks and it never gets any easier. I really feel for the family. Cancer is nasty to all involved. Anybody want to be my friend?????????????????:o

Good to see I'm not the only one that didn't notice it.

Um... Philly-Chicago is on Vs right now. The series has been pretty entertaining so far.

sure... but first I need you to wear a special necklace, sacrifice some herbs to the gods, and do a dance in their honor. Have to keep the evil spirits away, ya know.
