Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

Ughhhh, I knew it wasn't a good idea at 7 to lay down for a 1 hour nap. That turned into 4 hours, and now my sleep pattern is back to being ridiculously out of whack. Hopefully this gets fixed tomorrow night, or I'll be angry at myself.

I have that prob too, sort of. I'll take a "power nap" aka "brownout" for 1/2 hour, then my schedule is all outta whack. So now I just power through it and sleep oh so soundly until my alarm hits. Soundly meaning unless it's a nuke going off, I am NOT waking up.

I lied down to take a short nap at about noon. I woke up at 7:00pm. I am effed. Have to be in Rogers at 6:00am. So awake right now. Balls.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #109: It's the Offseason, now what?

... is it a brownout because you **** your pants while asleep?

Yeah, knew that kindergarten joke was on its way.

It's not a real nap, you just sorta lie down on the couch, and then *poof* it's half hour later. You're not trying to take a nap, it just happens.

I love the idea of a short power nap. Never happens for me. For it to be possible I would have to set an alarm, and once I do that I stay awake until it goes off.

It had to be made. :p

This is known as spacing out, blanking out, zoning out, resting your eyes, or just being old like GE/Goldy. :p

I have learned the art of a Sat afternoon 4pm or so nap. It's wonderful. Tune in to ESPNews (insert joke here) or other non-timed programming, and boom.

I'm assuming you mean "for having to go to Rogers at 6:00 am." :p

That's for starters. :D

Good morning, Lodge partiers!

Big day today. Today's lecture covers the beginning of the Cold War. The Berlin Airlift, for example, where we airlifted the entire city and dropped it on Hiroshimasaki, which took six days and which is why they call it the Six Day War.

Wish me luck!

The Cold War was the fault of the US. We should of never let them have half of Berlin after WWII.
