Hey, on another note...Ryan Stoa scored his first NHL goal last night playing for the Avs. He's been in Lake Erie [AHL] most of the season. The team likes his size and I think he has a chance to stick as a third/fourth liner next season as the Avs are going to sweep some of its unproductive forwards off the roster before next season [two who come to mind are Darcy Tucker and Marek Svatos].

Did anyone miss me? eventful week. Felt Yucky all week. Went to a conference Wed and Thur. After my body decided it wanted nothing to enter it via my stomach and if it did it needed to leave pronto, I got fever and chills and found out my primary office thinks you should be seen for an acute abdomen next week, spent 8 hours in the ER before they took out my "nasty" (according to the surgeon) gallbladder. Yippee. Vicodin is good.

The gallbladder rule- 40's fat and fertile. I almost made it out the other end of the 40s- only a few months and I would have been golden.

So did I miss anything? wTW needs to do a recap.

Good to hear that you're getting better. Because you were out, we aren't going to get this thread closed on time.

Brent, You made Melrose sound like he has a brain when you fixed my post. He always uses 'Canadian' grammar. He uses a singular noun with a plural verb. [Wisconsin have a great college hockey franchise. Boston College are going on the power play.] But you're right: he'll certainly identify the Badgers as being from the CCHA and he'll refer to Boston University as being from the ECAC. And while Melrose is uttering that, Gary Thorne will interrupt him to let viewers know there was a "touch-up" icing on the play.
