In case you're the kind of person that checks the rep thread more than you check your cell phone (edit: or, you know, the kind of person whose phone won't send/receive texts =P), I misread the e-mail I got (which in my defense, I was reading at around 1am after driving 10 hours), and I only have 2 tickets for today's game.

'Morning, Lodge. I woke up to about 3 inches of fresh snow. I'd like to say this is some kind of sick joke, but it's actually par for the course for the UP this time of year. Hell, 3 years ago we were digging out from a record blizzard on this date. Still, though... this sucks.

I remember that blizzard.

Afternoon lodge. Bummed that the Frozen Four is literally less than an hour's drive from my current location, but I can't go today because of an evening exam.

As for the name, I suggest Maggie Thatcher_hit if you're not too in love with your current choice. Or you could go for royalty with Victoria Anne_hit (you could call her Tory!), or Russian with Anna Catherine_hit. If you like mythology there's always Venus Aphrodite_hit - no pressure on a girl, there!

Please let me know which one of these you choose.

(Believe it or not, for about two weeks during her pregnancy I got my wife to agree on "Maggie Thatcher" for our second daughter, but she soon after torpedoed that idea. I was able to keep "Thatcher" for the middle name, though!)

Um... have you been eaves dropping on my conversations?!? We had decided months ago that if we had a girl her first name is going to be Maggie. (short for Margaret, my mom's name). But not so keen on Thatcher, we're going with Rob's mom's name for her middle name.

Speaking of baby names. When my mom was pregnant with my sister, I was just at the age when I was starting to talk alot (surprisingly I remember this). I was a big Twins fan, even as a really little kid, and during the '87 World Series, my favorite player was Steve Lombardozi. If you can picture a 2 year old glued to the TV watching baseball and yelling LOMBARDOZI, that was me. I tried to convince my parents to name my sister Lombardozi, I got out voted, unfortunately.
