Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Its everyones Computer between approx. 6 am and 6.30 am. Not sure why but this place slows down to a crawl eveyday around those times. If you hit submit message it will generally take it but you don't know it has, so you hit it again and it posts it again, and so on:D

When I was posting before work (5 AM central time) I'd put in my "Morning lodge", open another tab on the browser, and wait for post to post. Sometimes it was still grinding away when I had to get ready for work, so I'd just close the browser. My post was always displayed, but it would be time stamped 20-30 minutes after I actually hit the submit button.

Today should go fairly quick for me.

4 hours of meetings, most of which are just after lunch.

I did a Chest & Back workout yesterday afternoon. My arms are like lead weights today.

I've never noticed that before but I have closed IE and reopened USCHO with Firefox and the post would be there

Yet another reason not to be up that *)@!* early in the morning! :p ;)

Seriously, I wouldn't mind being up around 7-7:30 each day, but between working until 10pm, (it usually takes me at least an hour to wind down after work) and trying to, (um, how do I say this,) bring another UNH fan into the world, I am sleeping about 10 hours a night. The doc says that this will pass in another couple of weeks and I will have some energy again. :)

Good morning Lodge.

I rarely get headaches but yesterday I had one that put me down for a good portion of the day/evening. I am not sure what the difference is betweren a bad headache or a migrane but whatever I had was nasty. Today I feel like I was hit by a truck.

So Wally, I read in my morning paper that you and Goldy are both listed as questionable for your team's playoff games this weekend. Knowing how coaches obfuscate, blur the lines and just flat out lie at this time of year about players' injuries, I'm guessing the shoulder injuries you and Goldy are claiming to have are either STDs or wicked hangovers from binge drinking.

In any event, I hope you guys are back in the lineup soon. Here's to a quick recovery for both of you.;)

I'm actually using the "upper body injury" as an excuse to avoid a game that could turn ugly very quickly. I'm planning the end of season parent vs kid game for my son's peewee team. Anything that keeps me off the ice for that debacle is a good thing. I'll be in the box doing announcing and scorekeeping. :D

"Upper body injury," eh? I think that's coachspeak for "you shoved your head up your asp." :p

STDs wouldn't keep me out of the game but binge drinking would kill an old guy like me:D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 104: Back To Normal Sports

Hi Lodgers. Is it Friday yet?

Just a request. I don't need links sent via rep or email or anything else to what RC has to say about me. He is on my ignore list for a reason. It's my understanding that his response to not being able to taunt me in reps that I never see, he is now publicly denigrating me. I think this behavior goes way beyond the USCHO forum guidelines, but I really don't care. Please don't send me links or tell me what he says. If I wanted to neg rep him, I would. If I wanted to report him, I would. I just don't care. Maybe one day someone he cares about will develop a brain tumor and swell up like a balloon and then he'll understand. I appreciate the support, but I really don't give a **** what he says. That's what the ignore feature is for.

Thanks.
