do I want to watch the Beanpot tonight? And who do I cheer for?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Took little gII to the ER last night. High temp. Very high temp. Tonsillitis. :(
Hope he gets better soon! :(

Good morning, Lodge. Think I should bake something today, but can't decide between cake or muffins...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I had you pegged as a pot fan. :D

I think you have him confused with Gonzo. ;)

Hope lil g2 gets better soon!

Good snowy morning Lodge. So we have an 8:30 Monday scheduling meeting where we department heads, CEO, President and Principals discuss the coming week and longer term schedules. This snow has been forecast for several days and for once the weather guessers were very close to spot on. So W T F would these people not leave early enough to get in on time?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

I called the eye doctor this morning at 9:30 to make an appointment for something that has been bothering me. They said "can you be here at 10:15?". Dumb me said yes. What a mess out there, and I get to go back in three weeks.

I think that I will go out for lunch now.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

If you have any hope of me coming to the Final Five I think I know who you should be rooting for. ;)

And Priceless, this looks nothing like a crockpot. Your jokey comparison there just doesn't work.
If I can't root for the beans, then I will root for BU, and only because that ******* Jerry York has pulled Muse (one of my fantasy goalies) in a shutout 2 times in the last week.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Ice cream for a week! :D

:( Hope he feels better! Hope no one else gets sick!

poor bastard. Hope he gets better. :(

Yikes!! Hope he's OK!!!!! How old is he?

gmann: I hope that there's nothing seriously wrong with gII!

Are they removing them or treating with antibiotics? I had it when I was a college freshman, and they gave me, I think, penicillin for treatment.

The Lass had her tonsils & adenoids taken out several years ago, couple of tough days then she was fine. It was an amazing transformation for her, her energy level and appetite improved tenfold. She had also had several ear infections which vanished after the procedure.

Sadly, her docs suspect it was probably an ear infection which never manifested in fever or other symptoms that may may have led to her hearing (~25%-28% in both ears) loss. :(

At least it's something treatable!

Hope he gets better soon! :(

Hope lil g2 gets better soon!

Here's to hoping he feels better soon!

Thanks for all the well wishes.

The doctor said that it is very contagious so I hope that the rest of us don't get sick. We have had a pretty good run in our house with staying healthy. The last time any of us were sick was well over a year ago.

Little gII is 18 months old.

The doctor gave him some antibiotics and currently there are no plans to take additional measures.

Tonsillitis is teh suk. Couldn't tell you how many times I've had it since I was a kid, typically paired with strep throat. I was told by my doctors as a kid I'd have to have them taken out on at least a half dozen occasions, yet they're still attached. Still get that combo every year. No fun. Hope he feels better soon!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 101: Saturday Morning

Morning lodge. Bitter cold here this morning, -10 with -35 wind chills when I woke up. To top it all off they still haven't plowed the 4 miles of gravel roads between the house and the highway. Find a wheel track, hit the gas, and hang on! :D

sweetie, you know I don't have it in me to cheer for BC! :D

Quiz is trying to convince me to wear a BU jersey...I don't know if I can go THAT far...

Tell Quiz you'll wear a BU jersey if she wears one - and nothing else. :p

I'm rooting for BU and Northeastern, because that combo bumps Maine up to 6th in the PWR. :)
