a guy in the brown thread claims 1300 was the announced number.... i'd guess no more than half that though. pretty sparse.

gotta love the fare though... i walk up and tell the girl i had two adults, with an 11 yo, 7 yo, 5 and 1 -- not knowing how they charge kids. she tells me kids are free and it's $10. i figure 10 each for me and girl so i pull out two sawbucks... nope. $10 total. :eek:

I can't. Hell, I had three pieces at breakfast today, plus bacon in some loaded baked potatoes at a dinner party I attended tonight.

Sounds about right. Last year they announced something in the low-mid teens, and there couldn't have been more than a few hundred. I'll be seeing their crowd, or lack thereof, Feb. 20th.

I was playing the Game King $1 games. Double bonus poker and if my pot fell below $50-$60 I'd switch to the deuces wild game to (usually, but certainly not always) rebuild my virtual stack. Addicting as hell. Princess Cruises has a new option where you can use your cruise card in the machines to charge against your account. Mrs. noticed that one night when I was in the casino on my own I charged $1000 in a single night. I brought home $800, but to be honest I had little recollection of doing that. :o
We reviewed our final bill and she looked at the cash stack I had in the safe and said that I was "So effing lucky that there was a ~$2500 net profit or I'd be the next cruise passenger on the news to disappear mysteriously" :p

we are off next saturday, so if the weather cooperates i will take the boys to either ylae or quinny. we've yet to visit those barns.

You can't go wrong with either one. Yale has the older feel, but a real nice rink, while Q has the modern feel to it.

Looking at the scoreboard, I'd personally prefer the Cornell/Q game Friday, or the Harvard/Yale game Saturday.

Thats only because you promised the devil that you would drive his forklifts for him in Hell's Wearhouse if you could eat all the bacon you want every day without gaining a pound from it.
