I amble in a cold hockey rink awaiting mite hockey.... So in retrospect I could have used the sleep that I missed driving instead. ;). Though as I said it was worth it. Nice place ya got there.

Hello Kiddies
Very tired after some great hockey this weekend. Need to get some stuff done before settling in to making and eating super bowl food. Shrimp and Bacon wrapped Scallops are on the menu for this afternoon, along with beer, nachos and whatever else comes to mind:D

Morning all. Is there anything good on the tube tonight?

So yesterday we take the nephew to his first hockey game, my HS alma mater against Northfield Mount Herman and we give up *seven* first period goals. :( Better still, my wonderful sister was showing him hockey video on Youtube and telling him what a violent sport it is and warning him that it is very boring. Thanks sis! I understand that my hockey career ended because of injury and she's very aware of what happened to Travis, but the boy could just as easily get hit by a bus. There's no reason to poison him on just watching the game! :mad:

Oh well. I slipped a few NYA brochures into his backpack so his dear mother will find them. :D

morning Lodge. Got my logbook all updated last night; now time to get the resume and cover letter ready to go. Seriously, I feel like I have no shot at getting a job in this *tty economy. :(

Channel some of that Foxton2 angst into a positive attitude and you'll be fine. ;)

if I get an interview, it will be wonderful and I will go in there with all the confidence in the world. I interview very well.

It's just getting the interview...

everyone needs pilots. al gore and all those global warming folks need private plane drivers.

Morning, Lodge. I probably should have figured out what to bring to my friend's Super Bowl party -before- today. :)

EDIT: And f* yeah, my tax refund posted to the bank account I always forget I have. :D

i heard all the roads were closed due to winterfest, so came home to listen on the radio. instead we drove 1:45 to quinnipiac last night to get our hockey.

i did buy slipper's beanpot tickets. i'll be there tomorrow night.

bigblue_dl, Shirtless Guy, and I bought brooms yesterday and took them into the arena hoping that maybe tech could somehow sweep UMD. So Tech lost and Shirtless Guy decided to throw brooms on the ice anyways after the game.
