Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 100: This Poll Sucks

4 hour early release here today... my boss didn't even know... I guess he depends on others to let him know normally :p

I've gotten to the point where I depend on the whole day for that last bit of healing before the gym (funny how doing things in regular patterns lets you get a feel for that)... I'll be in the gym by 12:15 so we'll see how that goes today.

I might try go to a Chinese restraunt that is supposed to be pretty good and is pretty cheap for happy hour... but that might also be everybody else's idea... we shall see.

Strange, my bus took the same amount of time as it always does. :p

I'd love to take a bus or train to work. I could get as close as Big Lake on the North Star, but then I'd be stuck there.
There's just not a big enough demand for mass transit going to/from Sherburne County ;)

Morning Lodge. Ugly commute, ugly day of ugly meetings coming up today. Hockey tonight is just kid hockey - if we can make it to the rink south of the river in time given the sloppy conditions out there.

But it is FRIDAY!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 100: This Poll Sucks

Good morning, Lodge!

Today, I get to have my exit interview with Sam's Club, officially ending my time with them. why they couldn't have done this earlier, I'll never know.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 100: This Poll Sucks

They broke you off like that, and you're giving them an exit interview? Why?

Although it's tempting to go off when you've been wronged, stay on the high road and never burn bridges.
Sometimes you just have to take a nice big bite of sh1t pie

And spit it out on their shoes?

As I understand it, it's just to come in, sign some more paperwork, collect my last paycheck, and then wave goodbye to everyone.

Also, once I start with the new demo company, I'll be working at Sam's Club, but not for them, so I will need to maintain those bridges. On the bright side, I longer have to call customers "members" or managers "coaches", and when people ask if I work there, I can look them in the eye and tell them no.

:D

Actually, there's a bus up to St. Cloud from Big Lake even in the mornings, might be worth your while?

And spit it out on their shoes?

This. :D He's giving them the honor of an exit interview, but I think he's obligated to tell them just how crappy their job was.

Morning, Lodge. Still crappy outside.

By the time I get to a rail station, ride it to Big Lake, then catch the bus that may or may not drop me off at Liberty Lane/Hwy 10 in Becker, then walk the half mile to the mill from hwy 10, I may as well have just driven myself anyway.

Or I should get a small helicopter. There's nothing but potato fields all around the mill. I could land here easily! :D
Of course I'd need to avoid the airspace over the nuclear plant. That may cause someone some concern.

Morning Lodge.

Back from Bowling Green. Perhaps not the best decision last night, as I still haven't begun packing for WI and leave tonight after work.
