you need to move to the big city... I've got this menu catalog with **** near everybody that will deliver... of course there's a sizable fee. No fast food though.

edit: another grad student and myself had a conversation as to when you can start calling yourself "doctor"... I figure its when the state will vouch for it... which is as soon as it appears on the transcript. Either way, the diploma is a nice piece of finality to it. :) I want to get the UML and UConn diplomas framed side by side on my wall. Right above the art print of my hometown's city hall.

Howdy kids
Kind of wet out but I'm way behind on my wood pile so I'm off to split some and pile it undercover. Sooner or later its going to get cold and snowy. Digging wood out of the snow sucks

Looks like the sun is starting to break out. I was going to go food shopping but I'm traveling this week so there is really no need. I do need to head into the office for a bit, but I'm finding no motivation to get my butt off this couch.

Hello, Lodge :)

Lazy Sunday today. No work, but no day off until next Sunday either. Oh well. I'm going to make chocolate chip cookies today, except I'm going to use Andes Mint chips instead of chocolate chips :D I might try to find a recipe for chocolate cookies and make double chocolate mint cookies instead, but we'll see. I think they will probably be delicious either way.

So, I was just trying to Google something starting with "Why can't I" and the first suggestion it gave me?

Why can't I own a Canadian?

Whut.

Anyway, the problem is that I can't access Microsoft's website, or any sub-page of Microsoft's website either. nmu_27 can't either. This is really frustrating and neither one of us can figure out why... apparently this is not a problem that most people have. He tried to fix it last night by following advice on some forum that he found using Google, and now he can't do ANYTHING on his computer, because it won't start. I don't know if it's something with our Internet, which I don't see how it could be but stranger things have happened. Advice?
