Good morning, Lodge.

Been up since about 5:30 AM. Made baked oats for breakfast, did a couple loads of dishes, a load of laundry, and worked out. Does anyone else need anything done while I'm being a homemaker?

my entire apartment needs to be cleaned... its floating right around "embarrasing" right now as I finish school.

That reminds me I have to find out where the nearest coffee place is to the house I'm buying. My parents want to stay at my place Labor Day weekend, and they always complain because I never have coffee.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Tomorrow the little g's will be in a parade and then me and the Mrs. plan on having a night out.

Next weekend Mrs. g and the boys will be gone for the weekend. I need to start thinking about how I am going to take advantage of the situation.

Morning Lodge

Truck is packed. I'm leaving in a few moments to pick up my buddy, and head west for a little camping and fishing on the South Dakota border. I'm anticipating that it be a little warm out there, so I'm going to wear shorts. :cool:
I also found a sweet two speed fan that will keep me a little more comfortable in my tent. :)

The parade is part of the festivities held each year in a small local town.

Not sure what I will be doing next weekend. Crown might be part of the equation though.

I agree. Small town stuff is great. What is neat is that you really have a sense of community where most of the people know each other. Tonight there is a steet dance. The band is called The Killer Hayseeds. They have been around for a while but I have no idea what they are like.

Next week we have the county fair. This year both the boys will be ready to take on some rides. The only downside is that 3 of the non profits I serve on will be expecting me to spend some time at their respective booths doing some PR stuff. (the reason I am not looking forward to it is that it might interfere with my weekend plans with no wife and kids around)
