Howdy kids. Just got my picture re-taken. We're having a year end meeting next Thursday and my boss' boss wants pictures of all of his team in his presentation. had some taken on Monday when I was unaware that we needed them done. I got the proofs and then went to ladies room and sobbed. God, I am so not photogenic. But since I was aware that the photographer was coming back, I planned for it. Still not great, but at least I won't be embarrased when my picture in his presentation comes up. I HATE having my picture taken.

Got some pretty cool news yesterday from the Chairman and CEO of the company - they're giving us December 23rd off. We're getting the 24th off as the holiday since Christmas is on a Saturday. I will lose a day of vacation though, as I was planning to take the 23rd as vacation. I'm already taking the 17th and the week between Christmas and New Year's. With going to the Shil-howeveryouspellit Tournament over New Year's and not flying home till January 3rd, I will be out of the office for almost 2 solid weeks.

I hadn't thought about that possibility. Interestingly, my supervisor's supervisor's supervisor's supervisor was there at the same time.

In this economy, it wouldn't shock me. I've seen companies pull really underhanded stuff to get out of paying severance or other benefits.

You'd think that after all of that repping practice a couple of years ago, someone who is "brilliant" would be able to get the rep pointed in the right direction.:confused: Actually, I came to say happy birthday, but I couldn't find a birthday thread for you (has lewis been kidnapped?:eek:), so Happy Birthday, you incompetent repping, poultry-slipper wearing, now married guy.
