Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

It's soon going to be the other way around. Now that I get around 8 eggs/week from 14 chickens, I am looking at alternatives to going to the coop everyday to pour more feed and water on their behalf. Pragmatism tells me what's next. Just don't tell them ;)

Hey, you're the one who posted your plans where a guy named Chickens can read them. :p

Hey
Whats up, stop working so hard :D

Tell me about it. I have spent more days on vacation this month than I have spent in the office. In fact, I think there are only three or four days that I won't be on vacation the rest of the month.

Next year I get another 5 days of PTO. I have been with my employer for 5 years and I am flirting with getting over 40 days of PTO per year not including all the major holidays. In addition, I get another 60 hours per year of time (that requires a Dr. note for anything medical related for me, my spouse, my kids or parents that requires me to miss 3+ days of work in addition to short term and long term insurance) that keeps accruing and can be cashed out once I resign my position. I curently have 300 hours banked in there. :):o

I would love to stay and chat but I am in the middle of being lazy and doing nothing today. :D

Regional tickets keep getting earlier and earlier.

Yesterday I received an e-mail from the Oneida Casino/Ticket Star system for Resch Center tickets for the Midwest Regional. $68 for an all-session weekend pass.

Today, I just received an e-mail from the Scottrade Center. $34 for an all-session pass for the West Regional.

I think I worked 6 days in July. :)

WOOOHOOOO!!!!

They accepted my offer on the house!!!

Nice!! Where?

Nice surprise today.
Since I've had my snowblower whenever it snows I not only do my sidewalk but I also do several neighbors and the walks leading up to their front door - I think it's fun. When we got home today there was a gift bag, a Target gift card, and a box of chocolate and a nice thank you note from one of my neighbors. She's a sweetheart and I've told her before it's not a big deal (and I enjoy it) but wow, was that nice.

About a mile north of Stillwater Blvd off of Hadley in Oakdale.

Can't wait to close and bury myself in an endless mountain of debt.

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

Thanks! I'm trying my best.

Yes, I can. Mom taught me well.

Afternoon Lodge. Just got a call from my doctor informing me that I need to keep taking iron supplements. Instead, I think I'll talk to Creswick Farms about purchasing a side of steer. I'll carve off what I want, then ride the rest home...
This I gotta see, I swear AAIMT could have do a extra class just showing people on how to fold a fitted sheet.
So you really are a nerd deep down inside! :p

Think of it this way, he's still a nerd, only he has engine grease stains, not pizza grease stains.

Something tells me he likely has both! :p

Oh, and by the way... one for the happy hockey table please! It's been a while... ;)

I live in a townhouse, and we get plowed out whenever it's more than a 2" snowfall. The plow, however, can be a bad thing as most people around here should know from their own experiences, in that it will leave a skimming of snow that has essentially become glazed from the plow. So I do the same for the elderly couple nextdoor to me, except I use a shovel. The husband mentioned about a "nice Christmas gift," but I hope he doesn't do anything. I said it wasn't necessary, and I've never done it expecting or wanting anything in return. Besides that, I'm fat and can use all the exercise excuses I can get; shoveling's just one more.
