Yes, he does. He owned Rangers season tickets for many years before he had kids. A matter of fact, tomorrow we are timing dinner between the Giants and Rangers games. :D

He has only been to a few college games. He went with me twice to Troy while I was a student and to the ECAC Holiday tourney in MSG when RPI was there (and got killed) in 69-70.

If the Giants can get into MSP.....they are stuck in Kansas City right now.

i read where the giants aren't able to get into MSP because of the weather... the gametime may be pushed back.

Afternoon, Lodge. Heck of a day so far. A funeral, a panicked phone call from the lady friend, and driving around on apparently the snowiest day on the face of the world... I need a drink or ten. BTW, bbdl and company, want me to bring anything up that way? I'm packing some of the cider and some sleeping stuff, but do you need food and so on?

I am at Breezy Point Resort(about 2.5-3 hrs north of the cities) for a Peewee tourney, hoping the roads get cleared enough for us to get home tomorrow.:eek:

Had the semi-final game today. We are a B2 team and we played a B1 team (Andover). Great game, horrible refs. Their first goal to tie it 1-1 was on a PP where our kid made a good, clean check where they called contact to the head.:rolleyes: It went on like that with us getting called for a nothing hit and them getting away with frinkin murder. Finally late in the 3rd they started to call stuff on them. I think the one where their guy lined up our D and skated in on him from the blueline to run him with no call might have triggered them to start calling stuff on Andover. Anyway, went to 4 on 4 OT at 2-2, one of our D carried end to end and got hooked big time so they called it. On the PP, towards the end of the PP time we got a good shot from the point and Goldy Jr. tipped it in. Almost made up for the horrible game he had played to that point.

Championship at 12:30 tomorrow, hope the roads are clear.

So we only have a one car garage, no driveway, and three cars. I have a reserved ramp spot at work so on our way to a holiday party we* dropped one car there last night so we didn't have to worry about. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the van is almost buried on the street. Once (If?) the plows come through the nigh plow routes I have no idea how we're going to get it out let alone get it to the plowed street until the rest is done. May just drive around all morning. :)

*All I heard from Mrs. Eagle was how stupid my idea was, lets just get to the party......this morning all I heard was what a good idea we had to drop the car off last night..... :D

Awesome first day skiing today... felt a lot more comfortable and smooth than I anticipated. Hoping for 20+ days this year, should be doable with my M/W/F off schedule in the spring, plus weekends. Now to celebrate the first day of skiing by doing what else? Drinking. Yes, Sloe Gin, I said it.

this is the first year in forever that i've been able to get through for 'first day red sox tickets on sale' day (went on sale 10a, i got in first three minutes at 2p). i got two seats for a 'sox pax'. four games (2 seats). 4/29 fri vs SEA, 6/1 wed day vs CHW, 6/19 sun vs MIL, 8/3 wed vs CLE. many games are still available and i was able to go right in again just now.

interest is down... even with the trade and the signing. interesting.

problem is they do it at the end of the game in the back instead of hitting someone in the face during the game when those other guys have the puck. mookie has be very disappointed the past couple weeks with his team. not the BU squad i'm used to seeing.:mad:

Congrats!

Evening, Lodge. Got my menu set for Christmas; I just need people to help eat it. And there's only 22 more days until Jan. 2... I just want to get through the holidays without locking myself away or going stir crazy.

Apparently Amazon.com is in the Christmas spirit. One package I sent to my sister's house was stolen/lost, so I emailed them asking what I should do. Within 3 hours they responded and offered to replace the shipment free of charge and with upgraded shipping.

Nice to have a good (and unexpected) customer service experience.
