Amazingly, the Daily Caller seems to have misrepresented the professor and the paper in question!
If you can actually parse the article (which is admittedly practically opaque in its Queer Studies tradecraft jargon) it basically comes down to the following:
1. Issues of masculinity and femininity are being played with in the Gospels in both the semantics and diction employed by the Four Evangelists and by the situations Jesus is portrayed as being in.
2. What would gender even have to do with divinity, come to think about it? Jesus is God in human form. Man or woman, what's it matter? It's not like God has a d-ck or a c-nt. It would come up if Jesus was f-cking people, so if you're upset by this you may want to examine your issues with Jesus' sexuality. The perversion's in your head, buddy, not mine.
3. This will definitely get me a journal publication and an invitation to at least a couple conferences. F-ck, maybe I can get on Maury.

Here is the best news in among results that are practically uniformally good news:
We have finally emerged from the long, dark teatime of the Voting Rights Act. The great decline of the Democratic party started when the racists began migrating to the GOP. The Republicans feasted on this with Nixon, Reagan, and Dubya. But it's finally over. We gave you guys our dregs and you're stuck with them now, and just look at what they're doing to your party (c.f. Dump). You did a lot of damage in the 40 years we gave you, but not enough -- it's not irreparable, and the next 40 belong to us.
Another interesting fact: the percentage of Boomers identifying as Democrats has increased over the last 24 years. This works against the old saw about getting more conservative as people grow older and it should scare the hell outta the right because that is what they have always depended upon. Apparently they've become so reactionary and voters are so repelled by them that people are countering their own emotional-biological reaction towards decay and staying inventive and progressive.
