Imagine if that dude talked of Christianity in Arabic. And yes, there are native Arabic speaking Christians- I shared an office with one.

I moved to the sticks in May.

I found the Episcopalians nearby, and I've been hanging out with them. I don't feel pressured by them; there's no rock concert, no key changes in the music, and the homily is more of a conversation than shouting and screaming.

And as a visible queer in MAGA country, I'm grateful to have a place of respite.
