Reforming College Hockey

Re: Reforming College Hockey

note: we are think your idea is bat sh** crazy, not the idea of a min GSR to compete in the playoffs, I would be fine with a 50% min.

Now take you solution and and apply it to the financial (i guess 75% is good enough for you but not as a GSR) markets. Would it be to completely close all of the banks in the US and instead only use credit unions? That idea is bat sh** crazy, just like yours. What is happening in reality is there will be better regulation, in the NCAA their might be a new rule. Your proposal is the insane thought of a bored geriatric.

"We are think" "min" "i" - and you criticize my editing to impugn my logic? Impressive chutzpa!

Maybe b-ball doesn't matter to you, but "we" (most people) think uniform enforcement of reasonable standards actually does matter in law, academics, finance, athletics, perhaps even in college hockey.

Who is this "we" and when do I get to meet "them"?

Re: Reforming College Hockey

This thread was rather decent, now it has become off-topic, corny and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Nothing about the subject just personal spins about the posters, typical USCHO posters whom need attention.

Thank God you are here to bring a rational perspective.

Re: Reforming College Hockey

You are welcome at least it was about hockey......sorry you feel offended Grey Eagle. Sticking up for the thread?

Yep, I completely agree, so there are more than one of us who think this, so "we" is correct.

However, I just have to call out your improper spelling of the contraction for "it is," mostly because I'm a big fan of irony. :)

Not to mention, "overlook" is a compound word, instead of two words.

As my English teacher father-in-law says, "The 'itsies' get you every time."

Touche.. I am usually a better speller at 3am after getting home from the bars...

My drunk logic is still far more reasonable, logical and sane than anything you have said on these boards, except maybe you first thread about ice conditions. And as I pointed out basketball (and football) are in unique conditions. They are not allowed to immediately enter into their respective pro leagues due to the age requirements and US colleges are the best alternative league. You could try and make a frugal argument for basketball having the European leagues, but those pale in comparison to US college bball for development and chances to be drafted.
