So, basically, Red said nothing of what the original poster claimed.
Shut it down.
is "intent" a nhl thing and not an ncaa thing?
It wasn't a shot. He like tapped the puck. It went two feet. JT Brown is awesome. Story over.
It went in the net, wouldn't that goal be considered a shot on goal if the game was not stopped by a whistle? It was an attempt to get under Michigan's skin, and it worked, many times throughout the night by UMD's first line.
Chris at WCH even weighed in....
"-Mike Connolly and JT Brown were dominant in this game. I think the only thing that kept them off from potting a goal was some kind of cosmic justice for the absolutely pathetic and embarrassing display of diving throughout the game. I've often marveled at Duluth's training staff whosomehow always seem to find a way to get seriously injured players back out onto the ice for the ensuing power play. A whistle-happy Hockey East crew maybe wasn't the best choice for this game."

Got proof because I know you don't. I was at that in game in section 17. The only sparty that was even close to being assaulted was Tropp after Kampfer's dad attempted to get into MSU's locker room. No sparty fans were assaulted or spit on. Thanks for lying. The only classless thing that happened from Michigan fans was the FU state chant.
liar
Last time I was at Munn, I had a drunk MSU fan get into my wife's face after sparty won in OT. All we were doing was walking out of the arena as quickly as we could because I know the reputation of drunk sparties. Do I really have to bring up cedar fest?
Oh, Chris Dilks? You mean, Maize? The Michigan fan? Sorry, I don't read his blog anymore. And I see why. Oh how sad and bitter he is! It makes this sweeter!!!
It was nice of your band to play Hail to the Victors to honor our team so many times, too!
Do they know how to play anything else? Aside from Band Room Riff?
Do I need to get the jacket from the fans who were spit upon for DNA evidence? I will. Or the older gentleman who had a young fan in his face all the way down the steps threatening to kick his *** down them until a few younger folks got in the way. This wasn't at "the game" with Kampfer, but a later one. There are fans who are afraid to attend a game at Yost as they have been threatened with bodily injury and a few have experienced the actual insult of injury. I even had a couple of guys promise to kick my butt until I offered to oblige them. I have been to almost every rink west of Miami, and I will tell you that nobody fears attending a game anywhere but at Yost. It's a shame that anyone has to fear attending a hockey game, I don't care where it is. You had a bad experience at Munn, and if I had seen it happen I would have kicked somebody's *** for you. It's not right, but the fans at Yost seem to thrive on the fear. MHO of course.
I'm surprised "intent to blow the whistle" wasn't brought up; the one from the first period that ESPN couldn't shut up about.

You realize that this is a hockey game, not a band competition, right? If your team is playing for a national title, would you rather the pep band play something that gets your fans on their feet and cheering, or would you rather have them play a crappy rendition of some pop song while your fans sit in silence?
I'd rather just let the organist play "Lady of Spain."
