This 13 year old is going to be incredibly slutty. She no doubtedly thinks she is famous now, because I'm sure everyone around her is telling her so. When she gets a couple years older she'll realize that she isn't hot **** and start ****ing anything to make herself feel special for a little while. DL might have a chance if he catches her at the perfect time.

She'll marry Justin Bieber and they'll both do coke by the metric ton, pop out 3 kids, and end up with their own reality show.

I guess it depends if the girl and her parents did it for fun or to try launching a career for the girl. If she doesn't have a record contract but does have the internet, she and her parents are likely seeing the less than flattering comments being made about her. Unless they're dumber than a Lohan, they'll withdraw from the limelight for a few years.

Would people stop pretending that just because kids are entertained by something, it's automatically good? Cripes: the Wiggles, Barney, Elmo, Justin Beiber, Rebecca Black, Twilight - kids have crappy taste in things.

Back in the old days -when I had to walk 20 miles to school barefoot and uphill - we have Voltron and the Transformers, by gum and that was good enough for us! 23 Skidoo!

(BTW: I'm just going to say this because we all know it's true. Most - not all, but most - women have awful taste in music. Except maybe my wife. )

I'm not going to lie. I've watched Voltron recently. It's nowhere near as awesome now as it was when I was 6 years old. I have a feeling my parents were rolling their eyes at it as much as I roll my eyes at stuff now.

Pros: Giant Lion shaped robots form even larger man-shaped robot, create large blazing sword out of nothing and destroys things.

Cons: Pretty much everything else about the cartoon.

I'm not trying to claim that it's good. But Bieber seems to be making a pretty good buck being crappy. No reason our good little Rebecca won't, either.

And this is why I'm scared for my daughter and the world she's growing up in.

In the end I blame my generation and for that I have to say I'm sorry. Britney Spears in a schoolgirl outfit, Power Rangers, TRL, Elmo, Pokemon, convincing schools we needed our cell phones? If we had known we never would've gone along with it. I mean we started out good, Ducktales, TMNT, Goosebumps? But God what has my generation done? I'm sorry World, I'm sorry.
