If anybody is inclined to take the high quality of this RPITV / WRPI coverage for granted, you should watch a few more games from other programs in this conference. I watched the women's games at QU and Princeton this weekend, and it was quite a contrast. QU: good quality video but pathetic play-by-play and colour (they just made stuff up about both teams); PU: decent play-by-play but rough video (tough to get good camera angles when you can only get about half a dozen rows up in that rink).

very Hansen brothers ending

Not happy with loss (who ever is?). Not happy with lack of chances, but happy with effort. We're a call from OT. We belong in the ECAC conversation this season. I feel better about the result than last year's 2-1 home loss w/Q with the short handed goals(or was it two years ago?).

i missed the goal being called back-but jenny says that Prapavessis hit the post-then a QU player knocked the goal off the post without being pushed into it. A moment later a goal was scored cleanly by Melanson into the net that had come off. By all interpretations of the rule, this should have been a goal UNLESS the officials blew the whistle when the shot hit the post and the net was knocked off. No question the shot by Prapavessis did NOT go in. No question the QU player took the net off the pegs. No question that Melanson then put the puck in the open net which was off the pegs. Really need an official explanation of why this one did not count. As i understand it, if you knock the net off and immediately a shot goes in as if it was not knocked off, the goal counts. The replay of this should show what the story was.

The referees givith (last night) and the referees taketh away (tonight). Tough to take tonight.
The main concern right now is Nanne. we cannot afford another injury. We are running out of players.
