Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday, November 15th

Re: Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday, November 15th

End of 2nd period. Lots of back-and-forth, no consistent possession, a few good shots by both sides.

Re: Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday, November 15th

That PP was so horrible. Not only that, it led to QU having all the momentum after that. Seth better figure something out on the breakout because it is pathetic.

Re: Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday, November 15th

On the plus side, we are holding our own. No doubt QU was the favorite going into this.

Re: Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday, November 15th

In case anyone is paying attention, Alec Dillon is in goal for Tri-City despite saving only 5 of 10 shots before being pulled yesterday.

Re: Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday, November 15th

As much as i love RPI hockey-that was about as boring a second period as I have seen lately. Which is actually a good thing right now. Keeping this at 1-1 is far better than making that crucial turnover(which we did with a few seconds left n the period anyway). Our power play set up should have learned by now-they are not going to just skate the puck up and flip it in. QU defends against that as well you can. If we get any more PP time, we have to toss it past that first line and outskate them into the zone. Very impressed by Peca-have to prevent him from making the play to beat us. We seem bigger and faster-but QU is just well schooled and plays positionally as well as any team in the league. They set that center ice for turnovers so well.

Re: Quinnipiac @ RPI, Saturday, November 15th

I believe that that kind of game figures in our favor. I don't think that QU was expecting this type of game.

I completely agree. If we can keep them frustrated for a bit longer, we just might be able to sneak a good shot in there without them noticing.

They could be saying the same thing right now. Both teams have not had a ton of shots but both teams have had some giveaways and set ups that could have gone in.

Take good notes guys-will be off line for a bit and hope to be back on before this one wraps up. Just hope the officials do not decide this one
