Quinnipiac Bobcats 2025-26 - Viva Las Vegas!

We are truly cursed in the ECAC playoffs.

What a bummer. Really thought this team has the skill to go to the Frozen Four this year, but they don't have the will or the toughness. Such a shame. Obviously we still have at least one more game to go and who knows -- if we get a good matchup we can certainly get there but this team isn't as good as I hoped they were.

This is skilled but very finesse and soft team. They really need to add size badly because continuing to bring in these smaller players ain't doing it for me. The lessons of getting their ass kicked by UConn and now Clarkson should maybe rethink the type of players they need to bring in,

I heard from a fairly reliable source this weekend that the family wants him to stay at least 3 years (to ensure his degree). I don't see him leaving unless it's to go pro.

I heard the same exact thing too.

BTW, his family sits in the section next to me and they're such nice people, especially his parents. Hamden is only an hour and a half drive from where they live on Long Island, so I think they like seeing their son play close by.

On senior weekend the Q30 people who stand next to me interviewed his dad for quite a while. I didn't hear everything he said but he was glowing about how well Rand & staff do at developing talent. Being that his dad and uncle both played at Cornell it's a testament to Rand that he chose Quinnipiac.

There were 2 scouts from Calgary there this past Friday , one filming and one taking copious notes.
