Quinnipiac Bobcats 2024 Off-season: Rebuild and re-try

I have been hoping for a series with Penn St for a while. My wife is a Penn St grad but we have not been inside Pegula for a game yet. I was surprised to see only one game but assume they may be trying to get another local game for Friday night. I doubt it would be a home/away that weekend. Penn St. Men's schedule has not been released yet. I recall they played Clarkson/SLU that same weekend last year. With the Ivy's not starting until later it limits options.

This is great! The event in 2016 was a blast, and I'm sure that one will be as well.

Two games against Cornell in a little over a week. The week prior we travel to their dump before heading to the MSG contest.

Personally, I'm not a fan of playing league opponents in non-conference games. Remember the year we had to face bottom ranked Dartmouth in the Friendship Four opener? It didn't help our PW playing them 3X. At least Cornell's ranking will be relatively high, so I guess I can kind of accept it. Still would've preferred a second game against Penn State!

I'm really looking forward to the QU/CU MSG match up. Big stage, lots of eyes and Cornell, unlike QU only lost 2 players from last year. Should be a fun match up as always. BUT CALLING LYNAH RINK A DUMP IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I'VE READ THIS SUMMER ON ANY WEB PAGE. Carry on and apply sunscreen.

As an outsider, I am looking forward to the UND series. UND will have a month of games under their belt with a stacked team. Should be a great match up. We had such a great time on our trip to Grand Forks a few years ago.

MarkEagleUSA Time for the full season thread? I am so excited to get this season rolling. Looking forward to all the new faces. I assume we will be a work in progress for the first few months but I hope not since the season gets real from the beginning. My wife is a PSU grad so that is a must win for us.

After Sunday's exhibition. I'd like to get a read on the team.

Let's go Bobcats!

Should be another fascinating and fun season up on the hill. Looking forward to seeing how this group gels and comes together.

We have the same disappointment. Still, it's an opportunity to play a good opponent and hopefully the teams will meet 5 times this year.
