Quinnipiac Bobcats 2023 Off-Season: The View from the Top

Lipkin - Quillan - Graf

Cerbone - Treloar - Heinke

Fillion - Czerneckianair - Tellier

Marcellus - Tupker - Cipollone/Power

Lee - McGee

Rasanen - Moore

Legault - Pennington/Martin

Duplessis

I like the lines! …..I’d move Legault up to top 2/top 4 D pairing and switch 3rd line to 2nd.

How does the 2023-24 roster compare to 2022-23 and 2021-22 ? Will this team be competitive ?

We're probably not going to win another national title, because it's really hard to win one. But yes, we'll be competitive. Should be a favorite to win the ECAC regular season title again, and I'd be surprised if they weren't back in the NCAA's.

If you're a maniac like me and enjoy putting the schedule into your calendar, times are now available online for (almost) all games.

Apparently Ty Smilanic has left Wisconsin and is pursuing a pro deal with Montreal.

"One name fans might be surprised to see on the list is Ty Smilanic, acquired from Florida in February as part of the Ben Chiarot trade. After spending the past two seasons as a member of the men's hockey team at Quinnipiac University (NCAA), Smilanic transferred to Wisconsin in May.
NCAA players are not permitted to participate in fall NHL camps, but according to a report by Radio-Canada's Marc Antoine Godin, the young forward "has decided to leave Wisconsin and will attend rookie camp (and hopefully the main camp) with the hopes of landing a pro contract."

Caught myself watching The Jet and assorted other videos for the 8,000th time tonight. I can not wait to be there in three weeks for the banner raising. Still can't believe it's real. But it is real, and it is spectacular.

There's a transfer I'm still scratching my head over. Worked out well for him didn't it?

Getting excited for the season. Any news on the projected lines? I assume Duplessis will be starting G. Will be interesting to see that position this year after some great years from Perets. We have been very lucky with good G over the years.
