Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015 Off-Season: "Thanks for the memories, Jack"

The Jones twins played great last night for Oklahoma City against the Utica Comets in game one where they won 2-1 in four OT's. Party barge almost all ready to go Mark !

Was randomly on the Arizona State website and according to their schedule, they are coming to Hamden on Thursday(?) October 15th. Then they play UConn and Scared Heart the next two nights. Thursday game seems strange, can anyone verify this?

And 3 games in a row is even more strange out of a playoff series.

The league schedule normally doesn't begin until November due to the Ivy's, so it's possible.

Also, they might be doing three in three nights to minimize costs? Has to be expensive to bring a team across the country like that.

Confirmed as yes by Chip Malafronte to me on twitter. They are playing Arizona State.

I was looking through ASU roster. Jesus they have some BIG kids.

Jones boys almost beating the Comets by themselves. Jones to Jones had the Barons up 1-0 till the third period, Comets finally won 2-1 in only single OT this time. Boy, they are good!

They have really turned it on as of late! They might break through at some point next year. If a couple guys go down with injury, who knows. Jones, Jones, McDavid sounds like a decent line to me ;)

Peca is with the Tampa Bay squad for the rest of the playoffs. Just practices, not listed on the roster or anything.

Langlois might get a shot next year as I heard they almost pulled him up this year before he went down with an injury.

Hope these guys continue their success so I can pick an NHL team to root for already haha

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015 Off-Season: "Thanks for the memories, Jack"

Ironically the Jones' have to jump over Andrew Miller on the depth chart to make it to Edmonton. Many ECAC players doing very well in the AHL these days.

I can't really lose on that Comets/Barons series. As a Canucks fan I follow the kids down in Utica but I'm also a huge fan of the Jones'. :)

Miller had an outstanding year in OKC. It was only a matter of time before they pulled him up at the end of the season

Another ironic AHL tidbit, every Yale player in the AHL, Backman, O'Neal, Agostino, Miller and Langaniere will be affected by the AHL expansion and shipped west to California next year
