QU Bobcats
Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...
Garts looked great tonight, and their lone goal wasn't his fault at all. They were watching the puck on D way too much tonight. We are lucky only one found the back of the net. And honestly I think Q would have pulled out a win with a little more extra time. They may be peaking too early for maybe the ECAC Tourney but not for the National Tourney (I say this very lightly). Tommy Money looked better tonight, I think Chip said he is nursing an injury.
Get some rest and get ready to strap up because I think SLU is the better team we are going to face this weekend.
Take the point and move on. Even getting outplayed all night, they hung around and stole that point. Two things were blatantly obvious tonight. First, they were tired which I guess you really can't fault them for. Second, Clarkson did what they needed to slow us down even more. It wasn't ugly but hopefully they can find some energy for tomorrow night.
The only one that looked good tonight was Garts. He definitely kept us in that game in the 3rd. They got a little spark after tying it but too little too late I think.
On the bright side, we're still unbeaten and there's no reason for panic.
I've heard alot of people say "Quinnipiac is peaking too early". That is certainly not the case. Lots of work to do
