Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...
Some QU numbers for your perusal. Some things I found interesting. Our all time leading scorer vs. Yale, Brandon Wong, tallied his 13 points in only 6 games played. While Connor Jones' 10 points and Matthew Peca's 9 points are impressive, they did this in 12 and 11 games played respectively. Former stud Jeremy Langlois only tallied 3 points 9 career games vs. Yale and former captain Scott Zurevinski tallied one lone point in 8 career games vs. Yale. Travis St. Denis has the ability to tie the Jones' with 12 career games vs. Yale if he plays in both this year. He can set the mark if we meet Yale in the postseason. Sam Anas can top David Marshall's 8 career goals vs. Yale if he can tally 3 this season. He currently sits at 6 in 6 games played. Michael Garteig hasn't exactly been victorious in his six games vs. Yale going 3-0-3 but as of now he's the only Bobcat to never lose to the Bulldogs. Realize that recent Bobcats teams were given more chances to bolster their point totals with conference tournament meetings with Eli. The late 2000's groups numbers are that much more impressive with most players playing a mere 8 games over the course of their careers.
