Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2015-16 - Another journey begins...

Some QU numbers for your perusal. Some things I found interesting. Our all time leading scorer vs. Yale, Brandon Wong, tallied his 13 points in only 6 games played. While Connor Jones' 10 points and Matthew Peca's 9 points are impressive, they did this in 12 and 11 games played respectively. Former stud Jeremy Langlois only tallied 3 points 9 career games vs. Yale and former captain Scott Zurevinski tallied one lone point in 8 career games vs. Yale. Travis St. Denis has the ability to tie the Jones' with 12 career games vs. Yale if he plays in both this year. He can set the mark if we meet Yale in the postseason. Sam Anas can top David Marshall's 8 career goals vs. Yale if he can tally 3 this season. He currently sits at 6 in 6 games played. Michael Garteig hasn't exactly been victorious in his six games vs. Yale going 3-0-3 but as of now he's the only Bobcat to never lose to the Bulldogs. Realize that recent Bobcats teams were given more chances to bolster their point totals with conference tournament meetings with Eli. The late 2000's groups numbers are that much more impressive with most players playing a mere 8 games over the course of their careers.

It will be fun to see how these Freshman react to their first encounter over in The Whale tomorrow night. It can be very intimidating and loud in that building. Hopefully there will be a decent amount of students there to give a little noise back at those **** Elis. Hope you guys got your Camo Jerseys so that you can stroll up in there with style!

Got an email that we can pick them up prior to the BU game next Saturday.

I do not care much for Yale. Not much one bit. I feel the need to say that today.

Go Bobcats!

What a game... besides the few times we got stuck in the Yale offensive zone we played great hockey. No Aldworth tonight, healthy scratch?

Great win.

I texted my buddy after the 2nd period and said that Toews was best player on the ice tonight. That goal helped drive the point home!

on to Brown tomorrow. If anyone wants a ride up, just let me know.

We played suffocating defense tonight and Garteig was on his game. He now has the program record for wins.

2nd best... Garteig was stellar yet again.

Garts is the best goalie to ever wear blue & gold. Hartzell was good because of the team in front of him. Garteig is carrying this team.

Always great to #BeatYale!

5-0-1 against teams in the top 16 of pairwise with 3 of those wins against teams in the top 4.

Great game tonight!!

Garteig is the man. Happy to see Landon Smith get another goal.

On to Brown. Hopefully they can keep there game up and come away with 4 points this weekend. Brown always plays the Bobcats hard. Coming off of their loss to Princeton tonight I'm sure they they will be hungry for a W.
