Quinnipiac Bobcats 2012 Offseason

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2012 Offseason

Good to see that episode is behind us. Would love to hear the story of just how close he was to leaving. Hopefully Chip, or one of the USCHO reporters will tackle it.

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats 2012 Offseason

What makes you say that?
First off, I can't believe that there was any substantial money offered being a state school with financial constraints. This theory is somewhat supported by the others that declined the position. After that, when you compare the 2 programs I just never saw UMass as anything but a lateral move for Pecknold at best. In my mind, there was no upside for the guy who literally built a program to walk away from it.

NBC Sports, NESN and SNY have been in recent communications with QU Athletics about televising some QU MHOK games this coming season. Stay tuned for updates on what games will be televised in HD

Great news, Fred! SNY and NBC Sports are great ways for NY-area alums to get to catch some Bobcats hockey!

Save the Date!

Men's and Women's Ice Hockey Media Reception will be held on October 2nd at the TD Bank Sports Center's University Club. Always a great "Face-off" to the men's and women's seasons!
