Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 Post Season - The view from the top...
Beat those commie ********.

I expect to see him sit tomorrow. However, I'm not sure that was a double-major hit (I haven't watched the replay yet). I do think it was a message being sent by the refs. Whatever it was, it was a stupid hit at a stupid time by Goodie.
That was great to see.
In yet another act of class, at the end of that scrum, a Cornell player was mouthing off and gesturing to a fan right at the glass! The one thing I noticed, and took to mean that he knew his guys were thugging it up, was that Schafer was rather calm after the scrum. He wasn't screaming and yelling at the refs and even motioned to a couple of his players to head to the locker room.
Saw a composite schedule for next year and its got some quality on it. This is not in any particular order other than Alaska is the opener.

Bentley may or may not be a game next year. That is to be determined.
Alaska would not return. You're probably playing in the Kendall hockey classic, in order to get an exemption.
I saw that on the replay this morning. The cross check was a self-defense move as Craig was coming at him like a locomotive. That's no excuse for Goodman but it was an understandable reaction.Re: Goodman he got 5 for the idiotic check in the corner and 5 for the cross check to the face of Craig. They were separate actions in different parts of the ice.
If Goodman sits for that cross check, Craig has to sit for his idiotic actions.Would be surprised if he skates tonight.
The only other potential suspensions I see would be Dias for his role in starting/perpetuating the scrum and maybe Hibbeler for his part.I got the sense the refs were told to call no dqs and let league handle discipline postgame.
It was the 2nd period! Maybe you let up in the 3rd (as Q did) but not the 2nd. This isn't Pee Wee's... it's D-I. If you can't take the heat, get off the ice. Would Cornell let up if the roles were reversed?
Isn't Cornell's usual MO to shut it down when they get a 1-goal lead?Q was thoroughly outmatched that day. It was over early and cornell shut it down.
My guess would be McDonald and O'Brien again, with Stewart in attendance as well. Will be curious to see who officiates.

Are they still doing the tourney with the realignment next year?
7 Hockey East games plus the chance to play another in Uconn Tourney. Loaded schedule, nice work!
Yes. And they have.

Maine at the Bank? Here we go. Mark and Wonger, be prepared to see Poppa Larson there next year ... as long as there is a new coach.
You know where to find us!Alright mark, I think I'm coming. Save me a spot on the rail. I imagine I'll just buy a SRO ticket at the door
Hopefully you'll be there too. I really want to see that torn, conflicted look on your face!Maine at the Bank? Here we go. Mark and Wonger, be prepared to see Poppa Larson there next year ... as long as there is a new coach.

I obviously don't get to watch a lot of ECAC hockey, but if teams are shutting it down in college hockey I just lost a little respect. Now if by shutting it down, you mean the players got lazy because they were up by a few...It was over early and cornell shut it down.
So can I assume that Maine, Prov and Umass will be home games for the Q?
