Providence Friars - 2019-2020 Rebuilding The Friars for Another NCAA

2-1 And PC in the first. Better start so far. Two penalties in a row on PC though,

3-1. Printz scores right after the SMT’s kill the five minute PP. I’m sure the long review went over well. ;)

Great response after a tough loss.
Friars played awesome in the Third period while leading. Would not give the Wildcats any time and space on the big sheet of ice. Good to go into a break with a W.

UNH couldn’t figure them out in that third period at all. We have seen Nate’s teams do that throughout his tenure!

Road wins really help the PW. Up to 10

Not to take away from your teams prowess...which is formidable...UNH didn't play with the urgency it needed to. But, that said as well, PC played very well throughout and we didn't have an answer for them...No question that PC had that game in hand from their first goal going forward; our PK is a disaster (kudos for staving off the 5 min but then...). PC/UNH has been a decent matchup for the most part, but, skill to do what's necessary was in PC's favor. We'll take the split..

UNH played in that third period like they had never seen a 1-2-2...

a weekend of no hockey ... this is where teams start making up the games in hand on pc.

meanwhile lets hope friars get healthy for stretch run starting with tough matchup at nu on 31st. they did not play well up there first time.

In order to stay in striking distance of first, we need to root for... drum roll please...
Maine, UNH, and BU.

What a difference 10 years makes.

Maine 4 BC 3 (OT)
UNH 1BC 0
BU 5 UML 0 ( so far)

The hell?!?!

Re: Providence Friars - 2019-2020 Rebuilding The Friars for Another NCAA

how did BC play 2 games the same night?

weekend summary:

Maine sweeps BC at BC both in OT

UNH takes 3 out of 4 from UMass

BU takes 3 out of 4 from UML

Things have tightened up...

UMass has played most games now 16

Next 3 games NU and 2 with UMass will be huge for Friars both in league and PWR

Friars will face Maine goalie 2 times to end season,,,,,also face tough Vermont kid up there for 2 games

Word is Jaxson Stauber is transferring to PC for next season. Where from? Minnesota State. He was probably a little too young to have a chance to start for them anyway. :)

He played a game so does that mean midseason transfer or eligible right away?

Minnesota Gophers wanted him too
