Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

Tough goal at the end by ND as Friars cannot keep puck from coming into zone with ND on PP in closing seconds, ND player breaking in, throws a shot that PC defenseman deflects in past Gillies...

3-2 Friars after 2...

Fun period! I'm having a ball out here. I wish PC's pep band could get lessons from Notre Dame's.

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

Sounds like there's a decent Friars group out there...Gillies grandmother is in the house watching him

Big win for the Friars as they jump back over ND into fourth...

Next two weekends are big UMASS home and home and then 2 with Maine at Schneider

Had them all the way. That power play was brutal all weekend.

PC played well this weekend. So did ND. I did hear the NBC analyst say Gillies is PC's best player.

If they sweep, they will likely be the number 2 seed as I don't see BC winning out against Lowell (once) and ND twice. PC should overtake Lowell next weekend.

Go Friars!

(bounced down to page 3, time to move this back to the first page :) )

So excited to be at Schneider this weekend! Looking forward to a good game.

Maybe you guys see it different than me but I take a goalie like Ty Conklin over Gillies every day of the week. From someone that saw Ty and Jon night in and night out, I am more of a Conklin guy who was playing in a wide open system.
