Watch the number one play on college hockey last week, according to NCAA.com:

Hey Zlax now you can watch the save you had your eyes closed for

Not good enough...Nichols made several outstanding saves and deserved the W...UConn missed a 2 on 1 late in the game in which Gillies had no chance. Someone said Gillies got a stick on it but it was down the opposite end.

I was sitting behind the other net...but I guess you couldn't read that. Unlike you, I actually go to road games.

I can tell when a goalie has made a big save at the opposite end of the rink, especially when it's out in the open

You might go to road games but cheering for them to fail doesn't count as cheering for them. I guess if it looks like a cat, walks like a cat, it is wildcat :(

South Bend weekend...could this be the last time Friars play ND in HE play...hmmm, rumors abound that the Irish not liking things in the primarily east coast league....guess time will tell

Meanwhile, this is a big weekend for the Friars, sitting in fourth place but only 1 point ahead of ND...Feel the need to take at least 2 points out of this weekend... 0 points would not be good and would sink them down in Pairwise and polls not to mention fall behind ND and possibly others close behind...

For those of us that can't make this road series, both games will be televised on national cable NBC Sports TV..or maybe we get to rely on the road warrior Zlax for reports since he says goes to the road games...I'm sure he'd give accurate accounts on how bad the PC goalie is...

Yea...looked from my distance he shot it through the crease.

Yep, a wildcat through and through.

So does Notre Dame play a variation of the Flying V on the power play? It looks effective.

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

I don't think Notre Dame will be complaining about officiating this evening.

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

Looks like Ken Dryden in goal for the Irish tonight.

Re: Providence College...the battle goes on...Boston twice in 15

Keep losing to teams that will not be in the NCAA tournament isn't a good sign. ND is a below .500 team so the PWR will take a shot if ND finishes off this series.

Notre Dame executed the Pooley...er, Jackson system well tonight. That plus a hot goalie...ouch.
