Providence College regrouping and on to St. Paul

If they want sports entertainment and winning hockey isn't their thing they can always turn to wrestling. Hell, one of the best goaltenders of all-time (Brodeur) was part of those teams considered boring hockey and they did some winning.

It was nice to see the freshmen and sophomore contributing last night when the top scorers couldn't make as much of an impact on the game. You got a kid for NU scoring his first career goal and as a Frian fan, I was happy for him. Dude was just in the right place at the right time and put it in the net. Did anybody here make the journey to the Gah-den for the games last night? I thought about it, looked at going with my Dad but late nights are not his thing. Btw did anybody notice the reference to "DJ" by the announcers, about Drew Brown? Is there a DJ patch on their uniforms I'm not aware of?

DB. On Pinho for instance his C on left side Right next to it toward center of chest

Coincidence but Tommy Davis is going for HEA championship, his old Princeton teammates going for ECAC

BU knocks out BC in 2 tourneys this weekend...:D

As far as the game, I think after that first period Friars were showing effects of the late nite game.

Leaman mentioned to Logan in his interview that this is something league needs to address. Not fair for two teams playing that late game especially if first game goes to OT.

Not really sure what they can do other than play on a Thursday and then Saturday or Friday then Sunday before selection show, but so long as they stay at TD Garden they get relegated to what's available for that one weekend in March.

Sounds like SOUR GRAPES by Leaman...Go cry me a river! He is trying to blame a late game for the fact his team scored a total of three goals in seven periods this weekend and were outplayed badly in at least four of them.

Sorry, have to comment here. BU has more than once had to play the second game that started way later than it had to. Once, in 2008, their game didn't start till 10:45pm. Why all of a sudden is it an issue now?

Re: Providence College regrouping and on to St. Paul

Atlantic Hockey, ECAC, NCHC all share the same format and it's not anything new. Leaman can get over it. Not a league problem and on top of that the NCAA regionals are the exact same format.

Bingo...would Nate have complained if his team won that triple OT game against Lowell a few years ago and had to play the next day against a squad whose game ended at 1am? I think it was BC/BU in the second game but I can't remember. Or the next week when PC lost in double OT to one of the Minnesota schools (I believe it was Duluth) and then BC/Harvard played after them?

Tommy Davis former team wins ECAC to bump another on the bubble team out.

Ben Mirageas' brother gets into the tourney with Air Force winning Atlantic tourney
