Providence College on the road to Tampa

2 years after Hawkey was the Colorado Thunderbird u16 team Carlson was that team's goalie.

Also comes from Virginia just about 130 miles from where Greg Printz comes from. Also interesting, though I believe he's Mayotte's guy, One of the UNH fans complaints about Borek was his love of mid Atlantic guys. A second one of their complaints might be why we don't really know the full class.

Hearing that Kasper Bjorkqvist, '97 LW who played on Finland's WJC team last winter, has committed to @FriarsHockey for this fall.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Hearing the Frozen Fenway game against BC is a PC home game...if this is true, it is pretty disappointing to give up home ice to play outdoors.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Can someone on here tell me which team draws more attendance, PC Basketball or PC Hockey?

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Basketball is King at PC and has always been. Unfortunately hockey is treated like an afterthought.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Looks like PC gave up their home date against BC to play at Fenway against the Eagles. I would have to be fair played the game at Fenway as a BC home game and the PC home game at the Dunk. So both teams don't play on their home ice. Fair is Fair right?

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

BC has given up their home game once or twice because of Frozen Fenway...that's just how it goes.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Who was it against? So they played three times? Obviously that's an ideal situation but I do know BC has had to give up a home game for at least one of the previous three they were a part of. And I think they actually gave up a home game two of the three times.

Merrimack so they just played 3 times.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Looking back, BC actually gave up a league home game all three times they were part of this.

Looking back, BC actually gave up a league home game all three times they were part of this.

And that is wrong for BC to have to give up home games. Hate to see a conference decided on bad ice and a player falling down. ;-)

I've heard that BC is one of the main supporters of Frozen Fenway, so it makes sense that they gave up home games to participate in it. Besides, BC was able to get Notre Dame to give up their home football game for the game at Fenway. ;)

bc is a business partner with FSG so there is probably an expectation that they "give up" a home game for something like this.

Re: Providence College on the road to Tampa

Notre Dame always plays one "home" football game on a road each year.
