Providence College 2025-26 Official Season-Long Thread

Haven’t seen these metrics before evilhag, looks pretty refined compared to a + if you are on the ice when your team scores and a - if you are on the ice when the other team scores. Is there a quick definition of what each item represents? The visual presentation is good, it looks like PC out performed Brown considerably.

  • Offense (+): Blue bars for positive offensive actions (e.g., goals, assists, shots on goal).
  • Defense (+): Green bars for positive defensive play.
  • Production (+/-): Pink/red for production impacts.
  • Misc (+/-): Gray for miscellaneous factors.
  • Negative contributions appear in opposite colors or directions.
The total score reflects a player's net impact, factoring in stats like goals, assists, shots on goal (SOG), plus/minus (+/-), faceoff wins, and advanced metrics like possession and positioning.

I really wish we could see something like this for every game or overall at the end of the season - I really would not have clocked individual player impact by just watching the game.
