And that the team plays the entire game like they played the third period last night......face offs are important

Well so much for training camp the real season starts next week.......are they real, we will soon find out......they have had a great run but I don't think they have played any real solid teams yet, I hope the time has allowed them to be a real solid team and Val gets back soon to help the "D" and run the PP

Oh great saty now you have done it! Btw, I have it on good authority that Val would be back for Umass!

Re: Providence College 2010-2011 - Things are looking up.

A glance at the standings show your guys right up there with the "Big 4" (a way too pretentious phrase). Way to go.

Great job by the Friars this weekend. You have to win series like this if you are to have a shot at a successful season and PC did that this weekend. Fans know that this has been the exception rather than the rule over Army's tenure at PC.
Good for Tim on getting his team focused and on attaining the sweep. Nice to see Gates contribute as well. Congratulations to the coaching staff and team on a job well done. Here's to hoping that they can make some noise vs. Northeastern this weekend!!!

Any P-Bruins fans know what the deal is with Cody Wild this season? Saw he's only played 2 games so far. Is he hurt?

Your lack of optimism sickens me!

I saw where PC got a vote in the USCHO poll this week. See, good things happen when a team sits at the top of the standings in Hockey East.

anyone going to the game friday?

I'm going to be there on Friday.
I think that a split with NU this weekend would be nice and a sweep would be even better. NU is a lot better than their record indicates! Taking one at Providence would be a great start to a good weekend match up with the Huskies.

I'm going on Saturday because it's like 4 stops down the Orange Line. Easy.

Incidentally, where are NU fans these days?
