No they don't and you know it. :p
Not to say that I'm NOT a big mouth. I certainly am but please stop pretending that anyone here associates with you. It's very sad that you need to pretend to have friends.

Nobody knows you nor does anyone from the PC fan base talk to you. (Except for maybe your best friend Tim Army because you claim that all the D1 coaches come over to your house to drink beers.)

I may be a big mouth but it must really bother you to know that I'm smarter than you, tougher then you and have more friends than you despite my big mouth.
All you have is your computer, your cell mates and fantasies about imaginary drinking buddies. Pathetic. :o :o :o

Someone's New Years resolution about not making himself look the fool on the internet just died horribly.

When cavbim is making fun of you, all respectability is gone.

91 you forgot all the folks in the mens room

I did forget about them. How careless of me!
I believe they are called "The Wide Stancers ". Their meetings must have been postponed this season while their leader HD is serving out his sentence in Concord. Imagine what paying dues for that club is like. Eeewww!!!

Cav is one of the most gentlemanly of the bunch and even he can't help but point out what a clown Hokydud is. Too funny. The best part is HD doesn't recognize that everyone is laughing at him. Not only on this thread but on each thread that he trolls.
You all missed him trying to sound smart on the BU thread. He failed miserably!!! He tried to change it afterward but he had already been quoted.
He is such a dope!!! :p

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

Only 9 more days until the Friars play a game. Great scheduling!

Who here feels good about the Friars starting off the second half of the season playing 6 games in roughly 12 days?
I know that they are only games against teams like BC, BU, Maine, UNH etc. so at least PC has got that going for them.

If it weren't for the Mack then we'd have no chance of not finishing dead last in HE.

Speaking of 2010 upcoming games, BU destroyed UMass last night. The Terriers took a good amount of penalties and still spanked the Minutemen. BU is on their way back to having a respectable season after a tough first half.

Typical Jack Parker, he has them going when it counts and they will be a host team in the playoffs unlike a team we know who will have to buy tickets to see a playoff game

Uh guys, while I was thrilled to see a win (having not seen one in a couple months), it was ONE win. Enough with the sandbagging. :)

Listen young lady, we'll get all hyped up about your team if we want to and no amount of level headedness on your part is going to stop us. Comprende? ;) :D

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

Do you think Hockeydud counselled Jack over the holidays as to what was wrong with his team and this is the result

We know it won't be us ok? Come on now!

I heard that Coach Parker was in Concord serving turkey dinners to the inmates over the holidays as a charity thing.

I'm sure that I read on the BU thread that Hokydud let Coach Parker in on all of his vast insight as to how the college game should be played.

Coach Parker was said to have been so impressed that he gave the H-dud some insight of his own. He told Hokydud not to drop the soap. :p

Hey c'mon Scarlet, don't you know we're all (well many of us are) getting ready to sport BU colors at the Frozen Four this year? We're expecting to cheer our (adopted) team on to back-to-back championships.

Scarlet, is it true that you have been battling with Hokydad elsewhere on these boards?

You guys look fantastic and red and white so I would like nothing more to see you there in those colors. The support is much appreciated!! If we had more than 5 wins at this point of the season, I'd feel a bit better about it. :)

Battling? Not really. Having to deal with his inane posts and then making the stupid decision to engange him is more like it. I'd rather "gender flex" here in this thread. :D

Oh - meant to ask you - did USCHO pay you royalties for using your "Tournament Time" on the home page????

Alas, we only trademarked Tournament Mode® and not its related expression Tournament Time. So no, they didn't. :(

That wasn't the original schedule. We were suppose to originally be playing BC twice this weekend which meant we would have been playing 4 days earlier. Maybe not a big deal but alleviates 6 in 12. Merrimack/UNH have lightened their load at this point.

The rest of the issue is the reschedule for having BC play BU at Fenway. We got screwed because we played BC in the makeup in Dec the night after we played UNH and BC was off. Now BC backs off their part of the make up home and home 3 days laters so they have protection in case weather cancels the Friday games at Fenway.

However if Lou was in charge I suspect if PC was going to accomodate others so it could have been played we would not have been penalized. Otherwise I suspect Lou would have had Bertagna for breakfast. Although it should be noted one way Lou liked to get the team to peak come Febrary was to make the schedule so we played every 3 or 4 days (In the old ECAC days Lou rarely had back to back weekend games)

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

Did anyone see that John Quick got selected for Team Usa, wasn't he the goalie that Berard said wasn't D-1 material when he wanted to come to PC. Good call Dave.

Thanks for responding Cav. I was aware that the schedule had been changed to accommodate the BC/BU game at Fenway but it seemed as though the powers that be at PC allowed the rescheduling to put the Friars in a very difficult position.
6 games in roughly 12 days seems like a tall order for any team and a killer for a team like Providence which is trying to right the ship after a horrible ending to the first half of the season. The team is on a losing streak and will most likely start the second half of the new year continuing their downward spiral.
Playing BC, BU, Maine and UNH out of the gate would have been tough for any HE team. The fact also remains that the Friars have not proven that they can consistently beat tough opponents this season and now they have to try to beat these teams on short rest. Granted the Friars have had a month off which is a bonus or detriment depending how you view things. They are rested but game action (which their opponents have had) is better in my opinion then practices and scrimmages. Seems to me that PC should have been less accommodating.
Your point about how Lou would have handled it was well put, unfortunately Lou is not coaching the Friars. Tim is and he fell asleep on this one too in my opinion.

Re: Providence - 2009-10 What is in the glass?

Hey we have a hockey guy as AD so he probably OKed the schedule change

91...i suspect this is the guy who fell asleep or decided this was a battle not worth fighting. The coaches job might be to point out its unfair to us on how both makeups were done. Its managements job to fix it and Hockey Guy has plenty of lackies on the assistant AD level to plead our case. Keep in mind I really don't think Hockey East gives 2 sh*ts about us. They certainly wouldn't want us having an advantage and using it to upset BC and cost them ranking and seeding at the cost of just helping someone at best to lineup to play the #1 seed and be 2 and through.
