Nice story about the Prime Link on the other hockey site (bran X in my generation). Nothing I could find in this site, not even n Tim's Picks. Is the Prime Link slipping down the tubes. It use to be THE holiday tournament to watch. Oh well, I guess times keep on changing an not always for the better. I'll watch it an would be there if I could.

I'm with you NU 56, if I could be there I would be at the games. I traveled to Plattsburgh and Middlebury many times to watch the cadets play and were never disappointed. Just hoping we will get a decent broadcast this afternoon...I will watch the game but listen to George, he is the best!

NU dominated early, Cards with some chances late.

I'm enjoying the broadcast. Audio quality is meh. But I think the announcers are doing a great job and I appreciate the different camera angles and visual presentation (i.e. good-looking scoreboard).

I have been able to sync George and the video, with George only about a second ahead. Best of both worlds. Good broadcast so far, no pixels dancing or buffering...nice. Norwich 1-0 after the first period.

I know it's 1-0, but either way the Cardinals very fortunate to only be down 1-0. Puck management has to be 1000 times better.

Much better 2nd period from Plattsburgh, they looked more cohesive.

On NSN I think I hear the announcer from another broadcast being picked up on their mics. Does anyone else hear it?

Plattsburgh did dominate the second and unfortunately some defensive lapses on the Cadets part. It's anybody's game, should be a good third period.

Plattsburgh now up 3-1 having scored 3 straight. Team looks totally different from the 1st period.

Plattsburgh beats Norwich 4-1 courtesy of an ENG from Desnoyers.

I like the symmetry of the men upsetting the defending national champion Norwich team just a couple of weeks after the Norwich women upset the defending national champion Plattsburgh women.

It certainly did not look good for the cadets, their gas ran out right about the middle of the 2nd. Surprising since they are typically a well conditioned team. Plattsburgh made adjustments to the big ice, the cadets just collapsed. Great broadcast though.

It was tied 3-3 with 10 minutes to go. Lawrence got a couple then added an ENG.

As a Norwich fan, if we're going to lose in the first round then at least we'll get a shot to beat Middlebury as a consolation.
