Murkowski gets votes from Clinton-esque conservadems at the cost of POing the Trump/Tea Party folks. But, her last two years she’s really alienated the crossover portion of her vote with the Kavanaugh mess and now this impeachment mess. She’s RINO enough she’ll get a far right challenge (best case scenario is Palin) but now she’s guaranteed a challenge from the left.

The Mayor of Anchorage is a good start, Berkowitz is a good leader and has been working to balance the city budget despite state cuts. One on one against Murkowski he’s probably toast but in a three way battle he can win.

Begich could rear his ugly head again though he’s not very popular after losing in 2014 and f-ing up the Governor’s race in 2018.

Best case scenario is Trump losing in 2020 to rile up the wackos, Palin throwing in a challenge as revenge against Murkowski and Berkowitz throwing in with enough money to fight.

A post and a question:

1. THe US just activated quarantine protocols for the first time in like 50 years. Interesting. I have no problem with this approach.
2. Should we start an NCOV thread to accumulate these or stick them all in a thread instead of across several?

Lovely. Guess I won’t be working much if planes aren’t flying back and forth from China.

Delta and American are stopping. Delta for 3 months.

I don’t blame them. China could have done more to stop this.

As a public health student, I have mixed feelings on quarantines but ones here can likely function better than in places like china
