Apparently there is video from 1999 of Alan Dershowitz directly contradicting the argument 2020 Alan Dershowitz is making.
And, Laurence Tribe wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post that says Alan is full of ****.
doesn't matter. He only needs to GOP senators to buy in, and they have.
Wonder if this will concern our resident security expert?

The Russians already have the President. Another cell phone isn't going to do anything. Where is that DNC Server?

In Ukraine, so I hear.
The Senate will control the cameras during the impeachment trial, limiting what viewers will see. Reporters will be confined to roped-off areas. The effect is to make it harder to chronicle the you-are-there details of a historic moment, journalists say.
Also read this morning that the final rules will include an immediate motion to dismiss available to Trump Defense if the "trial goes off the rails" (read: goes terrible for Trump).
Bet OJ wishes he had one of those. Also read this morning that the final rules will include an immediate motion to dismiss available to Trump Defense if the "trial goes off the rails" (read: goes terrible for Trump).
According to Washington Post reporters Phillip Rucker and Carol Leonnig, in 2017 Trump told his then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson that it was “just so unfair that American companies aren’t allowed to pay bribes to get business overseas.”
Trump then said he needed Tillerson “to get rid of that law.” When Tillerson said it would be virtually impossible to get Congress to authorize a repeal of the law, Trump reportedly ordered a senior policy adviser, Stephen Miller, to draft an executive action to repeal the FCPA.
Business experts, however, say the FCPA is a powerful tool for fighting corruption around the world, and a perfect example of American “soft power,” or the influence that the U.S. exerts simply by virtue of its reputation.
While other countries have their own anti-corruption statutes, none exerts as much influence over the global economy as the FCPA. Passed into law decades before the rest of the developed world adopted similar guidelines, the FCPA has served as model legislation for other nations seeking to tamp down official corruption and encourage U.S. investment.
The Trump administration is “looking at” making changes to a decades-old global anti-bribery law, White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow told reporters on Friday.

Dershowitz used to be a name that was respected...problem is when you have an ego like that you can never quite take when no one cares about your opinion anymore. That is why he sold his soul to Faux and its opinions because they kept him relevant when the world had passed him by.
Didn’t he say he’d block Bolton?
