Re: POTUS: He's A Witch!

So do republicans think dems won’t have the balls to act the same when the roles are reversed? Or do they assume they’ll never lose power?

Of course not, they'll just completely change their tune when it's reversed. See also: the debt.

You have to remember the Republicans do not have to worry about logic or consequences because they control how their voters see the world. They will believe anything they are told.

Option 3: Rs project and so they believe that the Ds not only will do it, they ARE doing it. Since Rs have no interest in a fair fight (they’d be crushed), so they continually ratchet up the cheating just to be sure they’re staying ahead in the arms race (that exists only in their minds). They do think the Ds will do it, they just want to be sure that the Rs are doing MORE of it.

Look at the U.K. election yesterday. That’s a preview of what will happen in November

The UK election happened because Brexit split the Labour party.

Nothing splitting the Dem party for the forceable future, except for Trump going full dictator against them.

Re: POTUS: He's A Witch!

I'm not Bernie's biggest fan but the comparisons between him and Corbyn are lazy at best. For example, I don't think rumors of anti-Semitism apply to Sanders?  :D

One parallel I do take out of the UK election harkens back to something Howard Dean said when he was DNC chairman. Republicans want to tell you one thing they know about a couple of issues. Democrats want to tell you everything they know about every issue. Boris may be a doofus, but in his case his message was clear and succinct - Finish Brexit. Corbyn's was.....I don't know what it was! This is more a warning for my preferred candidate Lizzy Warren. We're good with all the plans. What we need is a simple rationale for your candidacy. Bernie already has one (democratic socialism) and oddly enough so does Biden (return to normalcy). A lack of overriding rationale is said to have sunk Kamala Harris' candidacy.

I think Warren's is the most simple and straightforward of all of them: fairness for average Americans.

Warren has lots of plans because that's how the world works -- it is complex. But Warren's message is clear as a bell. Equality under the law. The end of the system where the rich get their legislative preference 90% of the time and the middle class and poor only get theirs when it accidentally coincides with the rich's.

That is a simple and winning message. I think the media spin on Warren being overly complicated is bunk.

Makes sense the investigators would work with the accused...

Technically, the jury and defense working together.
